What exactly do you mean by that? They've only officially committed to Swallow, but we all know which other two blokes they'll take.So the Goldcoast havn't committed to Bennell. Yet.

Bennell has already moved apparently.
Didn't you say that we were very interested in Cripps, according to him on facebook? Not sure if he's definitely moved. But he is at the Gold Coast atm. It looks pretty much set in stone he'll be a sun next year.
Slash136, I highly doubt Tom Lynch is 'the one.'
Wasn't at all impressed by his 20m sprint time, 3:31s is very bad.
I think we've already decided on Gaff, and unless someone like Darling slides I have a good feeling Chalwell will be an eagle next year. Seb Tape is also a good chance if he slides. At 26 B.A mid, preferably outside. Hopefully one of Cripps, Newton or Green.
Its very much another Chris Masten vs Cale Morton scenario. While you could have made the argument Morton was a more talented player - Masto had a much more clearly defined role at AFL level (despite Woosh not playing him there). I feel Heppel is going to be another Cale Morton type who although talented will struggle to find a niche at AFL level IMHO.
But he's never played midfield. Some may argue with both boys battling injuries, Morton has showed more at afl level, and may have a better scope for improvement. I'm not saying that, but I think the jury is still out. Heppell is almost the perfect size for today's midfielders at 189cm and has a good speed, power and endurance combination. Plenty to work with. Also got a little bit of mongrel about him, can go win his on ball off the ground or out of the air, and an awesome boot.

Endurance and marking ability is what Kennedy has.20m sprint times aren't the best but his endurance levels and marking ability are the things I like about him, that and he has a midfielders understanding of the play. We only have 9 talls on our list (including Hansen) and last I checked we have a boat load of mids.
Endurance and marking ability is what Kennedy has.
These attributes and his experience as a midfielder make him much more valuable as a CHF, and we need a FF.
Hi all
I'm a first time poster that has watched all the BF draft banter with interest.
I was looking through a phantom draft (Quigleys) and came across Jordan Eades at pick 25(?) with a write up that sounded pretty amazing. Checked out some Youtube vision of him and was some of the best highlights I have seen for a while for a young FP.
Was wondering if anyone has seen this guy play and what their thoughts are? I know small forwards are probably not what we want to use picks 4 or 26 on, but would he be worth pick 28 or would he last til the Rookie draft? Interested to hear what people think.
Height: 174cm
Weight: 70kg
DOB: 06/10/91
Club: Perth (WA)
Bio: Blazingly fast small forward, with surprising strength and an impressive kick. Runs out a game easily
I certainly like Eades better than Yarran.
Same here. Eades is exactly the lightning silky small forward type we need in the FP.
I'm hoping Eades lasts to our PSD pick (if we delist Hansen), but I doubt he will. It's a shame we only have 3 lives picks in this years draft. Dalziell, Hansen, Bones should have been let go.
If they weren't contracted for next year they would have been
