Backed myself in over Bacon - for all the reasons I posted in the thread.

Lawrst over Footypie. - just. Agree with Stripple the rucks push the clearance battle slightly in Lawrst favour and his forwardline is likely to score more than FP's given the respective makeup of backs/forwards.

Stripple - Murphy gives a touch of class Stripples way for mine and I really like the balance for his team. I really don't like the balance of Faiths forward line. Some gun bigs.. but you can go third man up on them all day IMO. Some very good bigs at Stripples end as well.. but 2 mediums and 2 smalls seems a better balance to me.

Freddy - Cox down to Selwood probably the difference there I think.

Similar structure to the crows last season. If i had one more tall forward it would have been too top heavy.
Good luck going 3rd man up against Hawkins and Reiwoldt they kill any defense in the real world :p

I gotta agree with Faith here. That forward line is very persuasive ...

The big men are impressive but my third talls are free to assist in the air and on the ground. Plus when Mumf is having a rest you weaken either your forward line or your backline. But I think it would be a good match. Don't agree it would be too top heavy is hawthorn too top heavy with Franklin roughed and gunston? And we played with a third tall on a few occasions.

I would put Mumford up forward and Hawkins as back up ruck for a few minutes each quarter.
Franklin is a freak though he isnt ur typical forward, He comes up the ground when Rough and Gunston are up forward.

Its all about opinions though, my personal opinion is i just cant see how third man up would seriously hinder the Hawkins / Reiwoldt partership they are just way too good.....

I haven't done a write up.

Because the awesomeness of my side speaks for itself.

Nahas, Stokes, Petrenko, Blair.

All pretty much crumbers and short bastards - I'd be suprised if any were able to get into the 180cm+ range, or 85kgs+ range. Not alot of options there like a Vince/Porps who can at least give you another aerial contest or legitimately put in serious mid-field minutes. Nothing like a Jenkins/Henderson/Mckernan type either who all saw minutes forward for us this year.

But we're all entitled to our opinions :)

Had Allefgib over Alex/Bacon8.

Midfields close but Kennedy and Bennell edge things Allefgib's way. Beams a great young player but is protected somewhat by running free as 3rd banana at Collingwood. Would be numero uno here. Reckon the Alex/Bacon8 defence is thin, couple of rookies plus a bloke who doesn't play down back. No good match ups for Walker or Krakouer. Alex/Bacon8 has two good young key forwards but are up against two older, wiser and currently better defenders. Sandilands obviously a strength for Alex/Bacon8 but I'm a huge wrap for McEvoy too.

Went Lawrst over Footypie32
Pretty thin defence for Footypie32, reckon they'd struggle with Schulz, Milne and Ballantyne. Both gun midfields. Advantage to Lawrst in the ruck. Footypie32 has the Franklin trump card but some question marks over the rest of the forwards and Lawrst has a beautifully balanced, quality back six.
Went Faith over Stripple
Faith's forward line is mouth watering. Having two gun key forwards would be a weakness... has the Board seriously lost the plot on this issue? Are we that desperate to believe that Kurt leaving will have no negative impact that we've thrown logic out the window? Don't rate Gilbert, O'Brien's head disappearing up his arse and Howard unproven. Big advantage to Faith up forward. Faith's inside mids are ridiculous - Ball, McVeigh, Lewis, Priddis - doesn't get much better than that (except my team, who would wipe the floor with all 8 of these teams). Cloke, Betts and Monfries makes up a pretty decent forward line for Stripple. JPod's finished though and I don't reckon he'll play much this year. Quite like Faith's defence, especially Rance and Johnson.

Lastly Freddy Bassett over Deaneus
Freddy got some steals in the draft (Selwood, Cox, Gibson, Brown, Burgoyne, Enright all went too late) and that is reflected in the line up. Just has the edge for quality all over the field. Two gun key forwards for Deaneus but you throw Gibson, Dawson and Bock up against those two and they'll hold their own. Deaneus has the slight advantage in the midfield but Freddy in the ruck. Reckon Freddy's forward line would be too good for Deaneus' back line.

Time for a smear campaign.

I have evidence that Faith was at one time a Port member.*

*may not be true

After recent allegations i feel the need to come out and deny that at anytime i had supported Port in anyway.
I am considering legal action and an interview with Oprah so i can not comment further at this current time.

Vote 1 FAITH FC :thumbsu:

The time for perjury has not yet passed... The interview will have to wait until then, if you want to remain in the race for Prime Rib Roast of Polynesia.

Time for the next round?
