Seeing how the National draft is so close, thought we’d try something different. Supporters from other clubs are welcome to play. You don’t have to be an expert to play this either. Just choose who you think the club will take with our picks.

Pick 3 –
Pick 21 –
Pick 37 –
Pick 53 –
Pick 69 –
Pick 82 –

Scoring System:

Correct Player/Correct Pick: 40 points
Correct Player/Different Pick: 30 points
Player is taken within the next 10 picks: 20 points
Player is taken within the next 20 picks: 10 points
Player is taken in the draft: 5 points
Choosing a ‘Pass’ in the correct pick: 20 points
Choosing a ‘Pass’ in a different pick: 10 points
Player not taken in the draft: - 10 points
Choosing a 'Pass when there is no 'Pass': 0 points

If you wish to go ahead with the game, just make your selections. You can also suggest any changes to the scoring system (because I just made it up quickly). You have until 9:55 am Saturday November 25 (AEST) to make your selections.

I really have no idea, but will have a stab anyway.

Pick 3 – Scott Gumbleton (CHF) 195cm/92kgs

Enough said on him already. He aint Wayne Carey, but he's the messiah @ CHF

Pick 21 – Nathan Brown (CHB) 194cm/89kgs

Brown was considered a top 10 selection at the start of the year it seems he may slide into the late teens or early 20's. If available at pick 21 I'd expect we'd snaffle him to plug a KPP up the other end of the ground to Gumby. Played mainly as FB in TAC. Also suited to CHB.

Pick 37 – Bachar HOULI (Midfielder) – 181cm/89kgs

Supposed ball magnet and natural footballer. Has reportedly had back injuries - that may scare off prospective suitors and see him slip into the mid 30's.

Pick 53 – Nathan Krakouer (feather weight wingman/small forward)

Skinny, skillful & fast. With Uncle Jimmy around the club - he's sure to be on Nifty Nev's radar. Possible small forward - definitely too light to be anywhere near an AFL midfield. Draft Camp results and Krakouer reputation/name could see him go early. But hasn't actually done enough to suggest he's worth a pick any earlier than this. We need pace and good foot skills - could be a good speculative pick.

Pick 69 – Fort Caruso (Midfielder/Ball Magnet)

Dual Morrish medallist in TAC U18 comp. Midget (Peter Bell/Anthony Rock size). Too good of a player to be allowed to go to the PSD.

Pick 82 – Pass

3. Scott Gumbleton
21. Bachar Houli
37. Nathan Djekurra
53. Nathan Krakouer
69. Chris Dawes
82. PSD pick 3 in PSD Aaron Edwards

PSD dosen't count, so change it to a PASS or Aaron Edwards.

3- Scott Gumbleton - We all know about him
21- Jarryd Allen- Almost 19, so may slip a bit. Tall (192 cm), mobile defender who can play FWD/Midfield as well. Maybe too short for KPP but could be a 3rd defender/forward.
37- Bachar Houli- Classy natural footballer with great disposal. Lacks pace and is a bit one sided but makes up for it with his supposed instinctive skill. Slowly getting over his injury problems, can play in the midfield or forward.
53- Tom Hurley - Midfielder who is an absolute ball magnet. Could slip because of concerns on his disposal.
69- Haydn Kiel - Midfielder/HBF/HFF who adds pace and ability to run and carry. Works hard off the ball, ie: 1%ers.
82- PASS

I'd like to see us get him but not our 5th pick in this draft. I'd rather risk the pick on a smoky and get Edwards in the PSD.

Chris Dawes could be that smokey.

Injured so he may not get drafted, could be rookied. Worth a punt, would've gone mid-late first round/early second round but it's tough to say at the stage he got injured.

I have a feeling that the club will use up all their picks and then cut another player for the PSD. Prefer that not to happen though.

3. ScottGumbleton
21. Jack Reiwoldt
37. Bachar Houli
53. Nathan Krakouer
69. Joel Perry
82. Jaryn Geary

3. Scott Gumbleton- Read everyone's Phantom drafts.
21. Nathan Brown- Would be a great pick up at 21, and would make our spine look great, with Thommo, Gumby, Hale, Brown and Petrie...
37. Gary Moss- Captained WA U/18's and would be a great inclusion into the midfield with swallow, a fellow WA boy. Having eachother there could only be good for eachother.
53. Nathan Krakour- Worth the gamble, and after running 2.83 for 20m sprints, could excentuate Well's speed, and supply Gumby and Thommo.
69. Lachlan Button- Another ruckman yes, but this kid is bottom age as far as i know, and is predicted to be top 10 next year, and so would be a great inclusion, and would allow us to sell a ruckman next year for a huge amount.
82-Pass

correct with pick 21!!

3. S.Gumbleton
- Gibbs at 1, bombers to take lueny or hansen

21. C.Collard
- very quick, finds the pill and kicks goals, elusive

37. C.Benjamin
- 188cm 80kg utility who can play key back, wing or in attack and he flies

53. A.Davey
- refer to aaron davey, is also capable of midfield roles, better option than krakouer

69. R.Prismall
- Bottom age player who is a likely top 15 pick next year. quick, tall who recorded an excellent result in beep test. already has build to play.

82. A.Edwards
- if not this pick then ps draft

No thanks, he has had a knee reco and isnt expected to play at all next season. we already have harding out with a knee and players like urch, grima, smith, and trotter who are rebuilding after nagging injuries. if we take a punt than lets do it on a player like Rhyce Prismall who is bottom age and is an expected top 10-15 next season. lets take him now and open up a chance for another top 10-15 player next season.

3. Lachlen Hansen- CHB outstanding
21. Shane Edwards- Very quick wingman
37. Mark Austin - Tall CHB-CHF player
53. Lindsay Thomas-
69. Arron Edwards-
82-Pass

2 key position player
2 midfield with pace and skill
1 forward

leave pick 82 as pass have a look at what is left.

Anyone seriously thinking that the same footy department that axed Joel Perry will redraft him has some serious mental health issues.;)

Wishful thinking at best.

Here are my picks for what they are worth.

Pick 3 – Matthew Leunberger
Pick 21 – Daniel Connors
Pick 37 – Clint Benjamin
Pick 53 – Shane Edwards
Pick 69 – Nathan Krakouer
Pick 82 – Tom Sheldon

Pick 3 - Gumbleton
Pick 21 - Daniel Connors
Pick 37 - Nathan Krakouer

Would be a good result. I also love the look of Collard. I don't think he will last to 21.

Is Jetta a realistic chance at pick 21, or would i be kidding my self

It's hard to say. Most have him as a certain first rounder but his star seems to have waned a little so you never know. Sheedy was on SEN today and a caller asked him about Jetta and he said "there are 5 or 6 "Jettas" in this draft".
