I think if collingwood take Aish at 6 they'll take Lennon at 10 or Scharenberg at 6 and Salem at 10. One genuine mid and one flanker who will become a midfielder.

I had Scharenberg/Aish around other way but I'm not convinced Brisbane will take Aish. Scharenberg they will but don't think they'll go Aish. I put Lennon at 10 so at least I'm a chance to win if we don't get him. Lol

Yeah that was my thought also but all the pies draft experts think they want Aish more and won't risk it. I can't see Brisbane taking the risk and it really doesn't suit Melbourne but i'm pretty sure Aish and Toumpass are good mates so they might feel they can get him to settle in Melbourne.

Its probably our best bet to get Salem is Scahrenberg @ 6 and Aish @ 10. It really comes down to what the Lions do @ 7 with Freeman @9. Hurts but i'll be going for Collingwood to get Scharenberg and Aish.

Likewise. I think Salem is better than both so if it helps us get him I'm all for it.

To be fair we've hardly been successful outside of the first round picks.

To be fair we've hardly been successful outside of the first round picks.

I know we haven't been great but i really rate some of our later picks in the last few years but they've been injured. Helbig, Astbury and Dea are all AFL level players who have been missed multiple seasons with injuries.

I also love the look of Arnot, McDonough and McBean.
