I guess that black and white coloured team can produce a good player here and there......
Still much prefer the lovely blue and white of the Sharks.![]()

The golden boysThis list is my personal rankings — not where I think players will be picked.
Apologies this year to midfielders Cam Guthrie, Mitch Hallahan, Tom Liberatore and Josh Green, the crafty Kieran Harper, forwards Lucas Cook and Luke Mitchell, and defender Jamie Cripps, the next group in line.
The golden boys20. PAT McCARTHY (196cm)
Reads the play well and can take a mark. Spent time in the ruck when younger and can also go forward and have an influence. Skilful, athletic and kind of soothing: can calm things down by taking a mark then stepping back to assess things. Has a real Carlton look about him and is a chance for the Blues at No. 18.
21. JACK DARLING
There are many questions about Darling — his height as a key forward, his midfield potential, his off-field mishaps — but he can take a mark, kick a goal, and play with aggression. Athletically he ticks all the boxes, with his speed and endurance right up there.
Could go to Carlton at No. 18.
22. MATTHEW WATSON
The one most likely to play genuinely at centre half-back. His key feature, though, is his kicking — he picks where the ball's going, spoils, gets it back and thumps it to centre half-forward. There's no need for a midfield when he's at his best.
Carlton is a strong chance at No. 18
Doesn't it always go the way Emma hints? The draft order could be quite surprising for the BF group think if it goes the way Emma has hinted

Doesn't it always go the way Emma hints?
She does clearly state that this is her preferred list, not a phantom draft.
I understand why people question Darling, but he's the same height as Fevola who survived by having a great kick, soft hands and quick leads because he could read the play. Yet Fevola lacks intensity, endurance, second efforts and the leadership that makes someone a champion (Kernahan).
If we pick Darling, then we'd be pretty certain his attitude and size is fine.
Melbourne will go for a KPF, ruck or mid, not a defender.
If McCarthy slides, I reckon Geelong and even North could pounce to get another athletic CHB.
Get the feeling we might land Watson or Darling.
Fevola would weep if we gave Darling the number 25.
Clearly there is a gap between the Draft watchers here and Emma's opinion.
