What an absolute rabble of a club TG.

I heard KB mention it this morning & I couldn't stop laughing.

Fools !!!!!!!!!!!

On 2nd thoughts ..........

Um NO to Watson as he supports the Scum  :p

I didn't realise that he is Steve Alessio's nephew.

Matthew Watson

Which AFL team do you support and how did you come to barrack for them?
I've supported Essendon ever since I was a kid and I came to barrack for them because my uncle (Stephen Alessio) played for them for 10+ years.

Matthew Watson

I actually hope we do pick him with our 1st pick at 18 ;)

Either Watson or McCarthy for mine .............

One of the reasons I would like Watson is to bring back the woof every time he loads up on the left. ;) :thumbsu:
Ah the Woof... I can remember when I first heard it when Val Perovic used to load up at CHB. Then Ang took over - beautiful kick of the ball.

We're well overdue for a successor and Watson could be the man.:thumbsu:

I'd be happy to get Watson, as others have said that left foot could be a huge weapon.

Backline could be:

Armfield Watson Jamison
Gibbs ( Bower/White/Austin ) Russell

Thats a nice mix, the others just get the ball to Watson,Gibbs,Russell to set-up play.

Gibbs to be released ;)

B: Russell Jamison Laidler
HB: Bower McCarthy/Watson Lucas

It's all over because we didn't pick Talia and missed out on a year's development.

Can even switch Waite back and promote Austin if needed.

McCarthy's size at 196 cms would be a fillip once he fills out and develops.

The thing that might turn us against Darling is that we might be able to get a forward at 34 or 42.

Possibly Karnezis who has been likened to Waite.

Rather get a defender because we didn't have trouble scoring this year.

Why you hatin' on Jamison? :D
He's actually got quite good disposal...

I haven't really done much research or crap but I'll be more than happy with Watson.

I can imagine him torping it to the middle from kick-outs.

Port picking Isaac Smith or Parker would really throw a spanner in the first round and stuff up every phantom draft. :)

Just five and a half hours to go.

Thank God.

And 29 posts to go then this thread will be locked :p

Looking forward to watching the Draft live on Foxtel.

Full agreeance with TG. Shit just got weird real fast.

Mitchell seems as big a wildcard as any in the draft. Have heard everythng from early 20's to late 60's. Chalwell might be around for our second or thid pick and he looks as though he could play forward or back.

Jack Frost is talked up as a defender, but all his videos show him in the forward line (and doing alright to). Any thoughts on where he might fall? Could he be an option for us as a later pick?

No problems with Jamo, he is steady with disposal but doesn't get the ball enough.

I actually feel sorry for Chalwell, I hope for his sake that he lives up to the wraps associated with the kid. Gets picked by RE in the phantom draft and now he is the next coming of Judd.

Don't know about next coming of Judd...I like what I see in his videos and on nothing more than that would like to see him get a run for us, but most don't have him under pick 30, if they have him in the ND at all. Not walking on water just yet.
