It's intriguing and still an issue here that we compare indigenous players mostly to other indigenous players. It's a conundrum and I think it blocks their full acceptance into the wider playing pool. Anyone have a non-indigenous comparison for SPS? Not having a go, it's something I have done with good intentions but I think ultimately little knowledge on the matter.

I didn't notice that, most of them parroted Margot Robbie who is not my type either. At any rate, I was talking more about Rihanna's music, not her looks.

From the YouTube highlights I've watched, I want Taranto but think we will get SPS. I wonder if SOS told SPS to come out and say he wants to play in Melbourne to scare off Gold Coast. I found it odd that he would say that when he'd know we're his only hope of coming to Melbourne.

EDIT - I should add I won't be disappointed with SPS. He looks like a jet.

I was thinking the the same a while a ago. I thought of Leon Baker (as well as Maurice Rioli) mainly because of their sublime skills in heavy traffic - side stepping and blind turns. Two of the best non Carlton centre players I've seen.

I would be happy with SPS even if he only averaged 18 disposals over his career. They will be 18 of the most damaging disposals every game. I would rather his 18 over someone like Brodie's 25+. Quality over Quantity

All the talk seems to be between SPS Brodie & Taranto. Happy with any of them for different reasons. Very interested to see what SOS does. In the end we just want the best talent with all our picks.
