For some reason I just don't rate Crozier as high as many.

Does not get anywhere near enough of the ball and really really lacks consistency.

his testing tells me he is worth pk 28 as a young indigenous player for him to be in the elite catergory is practically unheard of and will be a player we will look at if he is available ..

Pace and endurance are very hard to find ,maybe Hill can be the unheralded player who has massive improvement in him when developed , his skills are good just maybe needs coaching .

Nicoski has both pace and endurance, as does Walker.

Took the both awhile to hit their strides.

It's crazy to think that after so much discussion regarding the poor quality of the draft, that many now want the extra top 30 pick.
Wish we had played hard ball with Port and also snatched 33 as we probably deserved, but lets not go there again.

Am now coming round to the idea of drafting Manson. May as well take a punt in this draft considering our selections and the perceived quality of upcoming drafts.

If we take a Manson and a Lockyer, we'll be in a position where we'd have our talls sorted for the next 5 or so years. And I dare say we'd have the best young KPP depth in the league.

Forwards: Kennedy, Darling, Lycett, Nic Nat, Manson, Hamp

Defenders: McKenzie, Schofield, Brown, McGovern, Lockyer.

If Manson has even 50/50 probability of realizing his potential, we should take him, we'd have a crazy potent forward line. Manson would just add that unpredictability which we certainly lack. Would be in favour of drafting him rather than an unnecessary crumbing forward.

It would also leave us in a position to target midfielders in the future to complete our premiership rebuild.

Think either freo or brisbane could screw up and pick up elton (who i really dont rate) and end up with a tweener ruck/forward who fails in the sellar mould and the other taking kersten. (btw i really like kersten but think we're a sneaky chance for turnbridge in the psd, yes dalziell im looking at you)

With Freo committed to taking Dawson in the PSD the Eagles getting someone to forego the main draft and nominate just for the PSD could be a distinct possibility. Turnbridge quoting home sickness in leaving GWS may also deter other interstate clubs from taking him in the PSD ahead of us as well.

Yes, he'd need to release Daziell but really what do we lose here? If he still rate him as depth then re-rookie him, we have rookie spots available.

Nice way of manufacturing another 30>40 draft pick for us in a weaker draft.

Switch them and you've got it perfect. Lockyer could go between 23-28. Duffy's not going anywhere. Keep it quiet though, Duffy is a real surprise packet.

I rate Crozier. Think he has big upside. Good user of the ball, can kick bags of goals, can play up the ground, has a huge leap, is quick, and has a pretty decent tank but just needs to impact games more which can come with being in a professional system.

We still need some genuine small/medium forwards ala O'keefe/Didak/Thomas etc who can play off a HFF and kick goals.

Masten a forward? There goes your credibility. Nico is in his twilight and we have been rotating mids who can't play forward through the HFF for the past two years without success.
