Draft Query

I understand that Carlton have be suspended from the first two rounds of this years draft and that we can't trade to get back into those rounds, but I wondering if we could trade a player or players for two first round draft picks and then on-trade those picks to get a player such as a Nick Stevens or a Dean Solomon?

you could but the other two clubs(club who trades the pick, and the club who recieves) would have to want to help you by not officially regiterign the picks going to carlton.
IE:Carlton trade McKernan for pick 5 then trade pick 5 for stevens. then it would have to be registered as Port trade stevens for McKernan, then trade Mckernan for pick 5.
(I KNOW THIS TRADE COULD NEVER POSSIBLY EVENTUATE ITS JUST AN EXAMPLE) so they can never really posses a pick in the first 2 rounds although they can as stated above.

Carlton would be stupid to do that because what if port dont want that draft pick.
