Not enough. Carltons future 2nd will be quite early. 16 and F1 for 9 is probably fairer.

Schubert, Sharp or Cumming. Youd think very good chance 1 is there. Id say there list is in need of Schubert though (missing draper and Tex done) - makes me think, they think dees arent picking Schubert

You certainly wont need more points if you have

11, 16, 43, 48, 54

Keep forgetting F2, maybe swap for F3 if you have one

I doubt we'd be getting 48 as well, but yes, then we wouldn't need more points, but also wouldn't be able to give up the points held in 11, so we'd likely hold it.

We have a 2027 F3, or F4s in each year.

Depends where the bid comes, but those points drastically increase after 2 sun bids and brisbane bid. I think with 11 the aim would be to get some more points if needed but atleast an F2 next year

I can't see us doing that trade for 9, but I think there are quite a few scenarios where we would do it for 11.

So much up in the air at the moment.
Assuming the rumour of talks with Adelaide is true, we would at least be considering trading out of this year our second 1st round player.
But it might depend very much on when the Dean bid comes.

Surely makes more sense to split with say North for more points (which would come in. You guys are in a fortunate position now where you can split the 11 or the JSOS comp pick, and easily match Dean.

Alternatively, stay put, soak the bid at 9 for Dean and then you can pick one in the teens the small forward makes sense.

They have theirs plus our first already, that's a LOT of points. Lets assume for a second we improve a bit I'm far from convinced we come top 4 or anything but lets say for arguments sake that's pick 14 for our pick, plus their likely pick 5-7 (they aren't coming better than bottom 6 after all their changes). That would be nearly enough as it is. Would be able to sell their pick next year for a bounty, teams want picks next year.

Yeah, a lot will depend on when the bid for Dean actually comes, and, if our strategy is to get another higher player before Ison, or, to trade out for more 2026 currency.

Least you guys have options, you have enough right now for Cody basically with our first included, surely that's plenty. I'm also not convinced they change bidding rules till after Tassie it makes sense to do it afterwards. They will wait and see how this new system goes for a few years.
