Is draft rumour code for gospel?
I guess the guy loses all credibility when he has been wrong in almost everything he posts, and claims it as facts.

But I doubt you've seen his posts on our board throughout the year.

If you know that then ignore him/her. I haven't written his info down in ink.

Quayle linked them to Marchbank in an article on the weekend too.
If Lever is still available, they'd take him surely? Doesn't seem the type to leave if they drafted him, and with Mcpharlin playing on another year they can let him develop/rehabilitate from his existing injury. Although West Coast are in need of a decent mid, (plus several other things) I wouldnt be upset taking him at 11.

They might take Marchbank over Lever if they feel Lever isn't quite tall enough to fill a key position role. Champion data yesterday said that Marchbank is a pure key position player whereas they believe Lever is more of a 3rd tall/rebounding type. But the opinion on both changes depending on who you listen to :p

Quayle says GWS, Freo, Adelaide, North & Carlton interested in Marchbank.

Invited to the draft so someone in the top 10 is considering taking him (maybe GWS?).

And will change many more times between now & thursday! :p

I was reading an old phantom draft and in the draft Mundy was listed as a full back & I had heard similar things about Lever potentially becoming a bigger bodied midfielder, so wondering whether they may see the same, considering the success they had with Mundy.

Also some talk about a Injury that Lavarede is Carrying
unless it's something like an ACL or navicular, what injury could be so bad that you'd overlook him for? You took Scharenberg knowing he would miss a bit of his first year.

Well with the Draft being Rated pretty Even that could be a Difference between a Rank or 2.

Scharanberg was rated as about the 2nd or 3rd Best Prospect last year

As was Menzel the year before.

If the injury risk is isolated to only miss maximum a year or so, I personally would take the risk every day of the week on a player with injury concerns. You could get lucky and get a Judd or Selwood who's injury concerns really never have been an issue.

Laverde has got freakish ability. Surely you wouldn't overlook him just because of a little injury concern.

Paige Cardona on twitter reckons the top 5 are set, and De Goey is off to Collingwood. She's normally pretty good with the leaks pre-draft, she was one of the first to nail the top 10 last year and had sources that said Garlett was heading to Hawthorn and Apeness to Freo

Well she has Connections to TAC Cup Teams and work with Emma Quyale and Brett Anderson.
