In my opinion both Adelaide clubs will also go for home grown talent

Jackson Hately will be living on the Gold Coast with at least 3 other South Australians boys selected from this years draft.
With one being a mature aged recruit.
Suns Craig Cameron should be careful on who's around when he speaks.

Callum Wilkie?

Chris Burgess? He's already there obviously but could still be possible.

I think the Saints are into Wilkie.

They should take him to play the role that Tom Lynch plays for us.

Oh wait... They had Lynch didn't they?

Seriously though, I think he would be a good fit for them in that role.

Maybe they do view him as a forward. They seem to have a fair few of those 192-196cm key defender types.

?
Leslie 198cm
Thompson 200cm
Neither intercept rebound defenders more spoiling, pure negating defenders.

Ballard 195cm, 83kg is a skinny second year kid who looked good but can’t exactly have him take this intercepting role on his own.

Joyce 191 but plays on mid-smalls rather than mid-talls

Not sure who you’re referring to.
We had kk, scrimshaw, May, spencer all depart this offseason.

Whilst burgess may go forward in games if required I’d say we have a bigger need for his type in defence.

Up front Wright, Day, Corbett, Holman, Young all up forward are that 188+cm size plus jack martin whose leap lends him to that hybrid forward role.

Another half back flanker?

In all seriousness though he looks impressive, lovely left foot. Can he play forward?

Good at both ends, runs hard and plays the link man very well.

Really Hope Port get the King Twins now.
Pick 5 and 10 for them are bargains.

It would be funny if the King twins both wound up in Adelaide, Max at Port (5) and Ben at Adelaide (8). Would take care of homesickness insofar as they would be together in the same city. Mum and dad might have to move too :D

Imagine Port and Adelaide working together for mutual benefit. Will the sun rise again? :p

Precursor to Armageddon...

Don't know. I'd be happy with him. Suits our needs a lot more than another kpf tbh.
True. The saints need a genuine mid. A patty Cripps type.
I guess every team does really.
Either way it comes down to is Max King to good to pass up even if you don't necessarily need him.
He could be better than McCartin in his first year, or be the best swing man the game has ever seen
