I think if Rankine ended up at a big interstate team he would be fine but at a fledgling club he is a bit of a risk. His talent is so difficult to ignore however. Maybe with a couple of mates with him he could settle but do think he craves the big stage.

No doubt but it’s just how much do you put a premium on high picks when the top group are quite even. He is a jet though so would be hard to pass up.

If they are taking best available, they should take Lukosius imo, Sam Walsh could easily end up being another Murphy or Gibbs

Best available is either Walsh or Rankine.

They just traded in McGovern don’t need a KPF.

Nah Lukosius is the real deal, you can take it to the bank but Max King will be an elite tall too his injury will not prejudice his selection he’s a fine tall.

Hopefully your club use pick 1 on Lukosius , pick 2 Rankine , Pick 3 Sam Walsh and pick 6 - Caldwell./ Rozee . Either two Vic country or two SA.
