Then I cal bullshit on the king twins flight risk as they have not said they won't leave Victoria either

And you're entitled to do so, but it doesn't mean that Rankine and Lukosius are necessarily big flight risks. Rankine also said:
"I don't think it will really matter to me, and it wouldn't affect me too much. I'm happy to move away and I'm happy to take the opportunity to play for an AFL team. I'm happy to move away and play for a club or stay here and play"

There are other reasons to prefer the SA boys. Lukosius isn't coming off an ACL tear like Max King is. I don't know where everyone is getting this idea that Max was a consensus #1 before the injury. From what I remember the twins were consensus top 5 and still behind Lukosius even so. Gold Coast ought to just pick whomever they think is the best talent and find a way to get them to stay. Doing it the other way around won't get them a premiership. By all the noise coming from journalists, Gold Coast seem to value the SA boys over the Kings on talent.

As much as I’d be over the moon if Jack Lukosius number was called out first, having already snared McGovern he’ll strengthen our forward line.
It’s either Sammy Walsh an elite workhorse, future leader an outstanding young lad that any team would want or Rankine ( mr Magic) tonhelp in the middle and further reinforce our forward. Also we get to irritate the Crows to boot.
Either way we just cant lose.

Walsh clear number 1.

I think people are over rating Luku. If not injured max would be ahead of him. Also if hill was interested in going further up the rankings he would be ahead of rankine.

Hill us a superior player to rankine.

Lukosius is a sublime footballer in every facet at 195cms. Absolutely beautiful kick of the footy. Can see him developing further up the ground and he'll be a real asset distributing the ball. Should turn into a dominant forward with an excellent kick at goal.

And do the brothers have any concerns about being drafted by different clubs?

‘‘The reality of going to one club, the chances are pretty slim so whatever happens, happens,’’ Max said.

Similarly the idea of heading interstate to non-Victorian club did not faze them: ‘‘Again there’s a chance that could happen,’’ he said. ‘‘We’re ready for whatever the future holds.’’

Edit: the kings say multiple times they are happy to move interstate to play

Plenty of articles stating max king was a possible no 1 pick

I really have no idea what you're trying to prove here. My point was to do with Lukosius and Rankine, not the Kings at all.

You may also want to look up what "consensus" means.

The point is for every quote about rankine saying he is happy to move interstate, there is one from the kings saying they will also go interstate. As for consensus..go do some more google searches on max king possible no 1 draft pick and you will get plenty of reading.

Don't know why you so upset with this, Peter Wright and Sam Day are both taking the first and second tall in AFL .

Carlton could pick Rankine at 1
GC Sam Walsh , Caldwell
St Kilda Lukosius at 4
-----------
Or
Carlton pick Lukosius at 1
GC Sam Walsh , Calwell
St Kilda Rankine at 4.

What i don't like is when people call bullshit on stuff they don't have any idea about that a simple google search would have told them ( not you peel67skin) but the guy i have had to reply to

The true #1 pick IMO

You're still missing the point, which is that I didn't mention the Kings being a flight risk at all, you seem to be having an argument with yourself really. My point was entirely about Rankine. The Kings don't even enter into it, so you're not proving anything to me here.

I don't need to Google for it, I will simply take a look at what Knightmare, Bishop, Pie 4 Life and several others have been saying for the past year, which is that Lukosius is pretty much the best draft prospect they've ever seen, and while Max is a great prospect who would be worthy of #1 in any other draft, he's no Lukosius.

What i don't like is when people call bullshit on stuff they don't have any idea about

What, and you do? Nah. I took an actual quote from Rankine and your attempt to refute that seems to involve discussing the Kings ad nauseam

Alright, enough of this silliness, back to draft rumours.

Not sure if it was said in the media, but it was rumoured on our board SOS would have drafted Max King at 1 prior to injury.

What I originally said was, Max was not a consensus #1 overall pick. The opinion of SOS does not change that, he's only one among many.

Fair chance Caldwell would still there at 6. I think GC would be mad not to grab either Lukosius or King at 3

I just put an eg out there , some people just don't rate the kings highly , that including me , how many players (KPP) actually become real star around 2m and above , compare to 194-198 .
Just personal preference , I prefer mixture of tall between 190-198 mix with one 2M and above .
Peter Wright ( 2 meter ) , Jack Leslie ( 1.98) ,Sam Day ( 1.97) .

I doubt St Kilda have many players near 2 meter and above as pure Kpp.
