I take your meaning with the "one good game" theory, but Cleve showed more than that last year, and as I said earlier.........that often more than what you would expect from a late pick.
Nothing much to lose wrt this years draft pool IMO.
Sure, but what good judges only rate him by that one game.No as a defender Beaumont was reasonable. Limited but reasonable.
What I am saying is that people tend to focus on the exception rather than the rule at draft time. Hughes is talked up for his six goal effort but one good game does not a player make.

......if his fragile mental state is a product of seeing someone get hit by a tram, then maybe playing him too close to Fev isn't such a good idea...........the Ted Richards incident might have sent him into complete shutdown.....HBF said:and I reckon playing him out of the goalsquare next to Fevola might be the shot in the arm he needs.
