Not really. Steele is a footballer's footballer. Its his clean skills and quick reasoning (judgement or, uh, 'football brains') that make him a great footballer. He doesn't need speed to make an impact upon the game.

Coming second at on the beep test at draft camp not good enough for your standards of athleticism. He has got a MASSIVE tank (got great endruance).

Maybe for the Olympics or if you're Mark Bolton but this is the AFL.

And your worried because he shot up in the ratings at the last minute? You'll find that if you actually watch alot of his games, he is very consistent. But you wouldn't of.

Best player to compare him with, most probably, but I refrain from doing it. You get the essence of the player, but I kindddd of keep finding faults in Steele, poor kid (although he's older than me, haha) xD

Again, like Jimmy he is interchangeable between the extremes of the mid.

Lol, once you give this thought, there's heaps of comparisons.

I'm sorry but for too long we've been recruiting too many athletic types and not enough genuine footballers with skill.

Sidebottom must be our #1 choice now (barring any sliders). Given Hurley's sprint time, it seems he is too big a risk to draft with pick 5.

My only concern is that we won't even get a chance to draft Sidebottom as port might pick him up with their 4th pick.
