I think he was a good chance to slide anyway, but I totally agree with you - Adelaide flicking 10 improves the likelihood

I will spew if Essendon get him at 19

Adelaide are receiving pick 14 in that deal though. And we are at 15.

So adelaide trade pick 10 away... highly increases the chances of Mitch Grigg slipping to us!

Waylen Manson 8 goals for the Waratahs today. 10 goals last week in the two's. I think a lot of teams will be looking at him now!

Super Super talent however he failed the interviews miserably. Told recruiters he likes to hunt in his spare time and disappear for up to 4 or 5 days at a time. I would be suprised if someone took the punt on him. I'm not sure he realises the opportunity he has. Could be Liam Jurrah... but sadly, WONT

Sebastian Ross? Anybody got any thoughts on him for our first pick. Looks like he could play inside midfield and be a viable half forward. Has an appetite for tackling at 187/188 and 82kgs could fill out into an imposing mid. Looks like he could be a Daniel Jackson upgrade. He's also a cousin of Jobe Watson.

I'm pretty keen to get in some players with size and skill. Maybe McKenzie, Forster, Ross. Draft lacks decent sized mids this year. Knightmare has us taking Ellis who looks like he could be ok. Good weight but lacks height.

i havent seen much at all this year, other than grigg, what other big bodied inside mid types will be available at our pick?

otherwise who are the pure footballers with good kicking skills and decision making likely to be taken outside the top 10?

also its a bit more interesting having pick 26 now, hope we go for two midfielders, or one mid and a hff who can rotate through the middle, from what ive heard there arent many good talls in this draft and those that are decent are in the top dozen picks.

Grigg would have to be a chance now. Anyone rate Nelson highly? Ellis-Yolmen i could see being picked up now as well. I really hope its 2 midfielders. 1 of them being an in and under midfielder that can burrow in like Tuck.

GWS won't take that man Mids as they already have Scully and Ward who are primetime inside mids. They're gonna get Patton, Tyson, Wingard, Coniglio, Longer etc... so lots of mids are gonna slip.

you would hope so, but how many key talls are rated in the top 15-20?

11 out of 15 should see them take atleast 4 KPP's and a ruckman.

I'm hoping for Ross/Forster at 15 and maybe Markworth at 26, Bolger if we feel like taking a punt on a ruck.

Hopefully Brissy take a young ruck like Bolger at 12. Or a KPF to replace Clark. Port will take a mid and Brissy one mid. That's 8 mids gone by our pick at least. We need to hope GWS take a few high risk/high reward picks that are touted in the 20's etc.

Is Ross inside or outside? I wouldn't mind Ellis-Yolmen at 26 who could play like a Morabito apparently. 191cm mid. I really like Forster too.

Outsidish, a beautiful left footer who is also a ferocious tackler. I like that he can go forward though. I like everything about him from what I've read actually. This is what Knightmare has to say -
Medium midfielder/forward who feels really draftable. Really lively. Has a high work rate. Footskills are the standout feature of his game. Just one of those perfect left footers. Under pressure has no difficulty executing. Really like his tackling pressure and for someone with his footskills it’s a rare combination to have. Can play some midfield either inside or outside comfortably. But really like what i’ve seen of him as a forward most. Hard worker and has been a real improver over the past year.

Sounds like a good fit for us actually. We have a lot of mids that can go to a HBF or wing. Not alot that can go forward. Good size too and fits the kicking profile.

Do you think Kavanagh will slide to 15 with GWS having so many mids to take?

Kavanagh at 15 and Grigg at 26 would be sublime.......
Atley and Harper went to North at 17 and 27 last year so no reason why not.

WOW that would actually be sensational.................wowweeeeeee

Can someone please go and do a phantom draft on the drafts and trades board to make this suggestion look more real for me in my head.

Lol wait till that person gets shot down :p

Really gone off Grigg for some reason. He just continues to slid down the order. I think he can make an impact next year, but his scope for improvement is limited, especially with the way the game is going in terms of pace. Sounds a little too much like a Brock McLean scenario.
