Is it a myth that this draft is deep.One of the reasons we din't open spots up is that this is a weaker draft than last year.
It seems like we will have many unhappy people if we miss out on someone.
We needed to use three picks for the best in the first round which should turn into gun Afl players.
Once we get to tonight it is hit and miss.
The one good thing is we are only a year away from another draft and we have a lot to delist if it is a better draft

That's the problem, that we could have resolved further this year and taken a gamble on some more round 2 picks.

Weren't the phantoms all published before Gold Coast's pick trades yesterday morning?

That's when things changed, but we stuck to an outdated plan.

Yeah I'm still pissed off that everyone and their grandmother seemed to know what our plan was (maybe actually keep your draft intentions under wraps? Especially when it involves something like bidding another club into the ground?) and then when Gold Coast started adding all these nickel and dime trades on draft night, the Eagles stuck to their plan of not bidding on Uwland #1, not bidding on Patterson at all, and then still thought they had Addinsall in the bag. Why did you think Gold Coast were doing all those extra trades???
