Apeness impressed throughout the year because he improved so much. I think he ends up a tall forward, who can pinch-hit. He's competitive in the air and he just runs at the ball and grabs it, and attacks each contest the same way. The way it's looking I don't think he'll be there at 22.

I like Acres a lot and rate him highly. But I think there's a chance he pushes down the order slightly. Would be good at the Cats but Freo might also take a look as another 190cm, big-bodied midfielder.

Don't think Acres will get to the Eagles at pick 11, and is unlikely at 12 for the Tigers. 13-18 for him I'd say with Geelong and Freo big chances.

Matt, Cain has had some interest from the Pies and Freo. Perhaps as a rookie though.
