We have to get either Wood or Jolly. Both rumoured to wanting out.

Why in your right mind would you even think about trading Mitch Hahn. One of the few hard bodied players that we have at the club who'll be even better next year.
Butane, is that Cameron Wood from Brisbane? If so, he played very well against us in the NAB Cup & has been overtaken on the pecking order by Luenberger.
He's hardly injury prone. He did a knee jumping for a mark and popped his shoulder thanks to a bad kick from Jordie.Hahn's only good if he stays on the field, otherwise, he's just taking up space. If he again fails to stay on the field next year........![]()
mjp, you seem to know your stuff.
Is there any chance we could get both Henderson and McEvoy with our first and second rounders?
And who do you rate higher?
Also if they are both there who do you think we will go for? McEvoy sounds more enticing due to the fact he can play in the ruck and forward. What is he more naturally?

Given I have only seen him play one game, it's hard to make an assessment, so the recruiting staff would have a reasonable idea of his worth.
Yea, 20 years old and looks a likely type. I think his best years are still 3-4 years away. So i wouldn't expect much from him early. Which might not be what we are after. But for his sake he should leave..his career will stutter at Brisbane because of their ruck depth. He won't come cheap with at least 5 other clubs sniffing around. Be great to build a team around him and Minson. Just might mean more heart ache in the short term
Brisbane rate him highly...at least the supporters do. And so do i

yeah i like wood as well and also think charman could be up for grabs and its hard to see them both there next year. i just think that charman would be better suited to us for 2008, darcy is gone and we need some one to take over the number 1 rucking role, would also be helpful with minsons development. not to mention he can pinch hit up forward, like wood he wont come cheap, and if we had 2 i'd be happy with wood
After watching him yesterday play exclusively as a key forward, if I had the first pick - let alone the 5th pick - I would be thinking long and hard about what to do. I (and I understand I am in the minority) am not convinced Kreuzer will be a dominant AFL ruckman - as a forward (and he can play there) I am not sure he will be better than McEvoy who showed good pace and agility...as well as good hands and the ability to kick it very straight.
Much more impressed than I was at carnival time or when I saw him earlier this year.

If he was getting hammies and soft tissue injuries every other week then maybe it'd be an issue. As it is, he plays hard and has been pretty durable to this point.
Okay guys, would your footy club do a swap Staker for Farran Wray?
You would hope so.
Murphy for Ray?
