read somewhere that adealide wanted pick 29 or higher for hudson. if thats the case, why not use power to upgrade our 3rd rounder to second rounder territory and use that for hudson?

All those articles talk about picks for Power and McMahon, how many bloody picks to we want this year!

Power for a late pick? Whats the point of that we have a ton of those already. What players are on the outer at Sydeny or North Melbourne? I'd rather swap for one of those than have 5 picks late in the 3rd and 4th round.

If this is the way we're trading out players taken on a 'best available' basis, it doesn't make sense to me.

Surely you do best available in order to fill needs through trades, thus you develop players you pick at best available, and if they're surplus to your needs you trade for players you need or higher picks. Taking a first rounder, putting 5 years into him and then trading for a 2nd rounder makes no sense at all to me.

You are basing your judgements of Jordie on his 2007 form. Look at his form in 2006. Look at footage of him playing in 2006. Then you would be salivating over the prospect of mcmahon

Any news on Hahn? Apprently McMahon is all but gone which is really disappointing but Hahn is still out of contract as well. I'm getting worried we may lose both.

It's frustrating that we can't find out the real story on whether he wants to go. I get the feeling it's just a standard line from clubs who want to move players on without upsetting supporters, The guy's on holidays with his teammates having a good time, surely it'd be hard for him to leave them, if the club was 100% committed to jordie he'd be staying.

I believe the deal is a 2nd round pick under 29. So we have to get one otherwise we have to give them pick 22.
