so what ever happen i will be happy and trust what ever eade dose, has it's his jobon the line if he gets it wrong.

That is the problem. List management should not be left to the coach. Coaches with jobs on the line get desperate and try to remain competitive. Look at Laidely he has been doing it for a while. Can cost the club 10 years of average results which I think is what happened with Rhode and co. All decisions on recruiting should be referred to a list management team which would have the long term goals of the club at heart.

Hey guys, im trying to stay out of the whole trading aspect of things untill Collingwoods campaign is over, but i just cant help myself.

The realisation is that if Collingwood want Judd they are going to have to offload quality, the amount of quality they have to offload can be determined on whether they can jump in on some deals where we can offload players that are surplus to our strengths, but still hold value.

One player is Josh Fraser, sure we dont have great ruck strength, but he hasnt proved to be a ruckman yet (great 200cm onballer, but taps are his strong point, but would work well in a team with good ruck strength)
With that in mind i started to think of players who have reqeusted trades other than judd, and players who may request trades.

This is what i came up with and would like a dogs supporters perspective of it, focusing more on what the dogs lose/gain than others.

4 Teams: Collingwood, West Coast, Adelaide, Bulldogs.

Coll Gain: Judd and Meesan
Coll Lose: Fraser, Cox and First Rounder
Crows Gain: Fraser, Ray, colls first rounder and 31
Crows Lose: Macgregor, Hudson, Meesan and pick 10
West Coast Gain: Picks 5, 10 and Cox
West Coast Lose: Judd and pick 31
Dogs Gain: Macgregor, Hudson
Dogs Lose: Pick 5 and Ray

So you are saying that we should trade Ray and pick 5 for two almost 30 year olds. Good for all teams except for the dogs. will not go ahead.

Dogs Gain: Macgregor, Hudson
Dogs Lose: Pick 5 and Ray

Ray is worth more than either of those two.

Pick 5 is also worth more the either those two.

Both Adelaide players could end up in the PSD!

Maybe Eagleton and Power to keep them out of the PSD otherwise who cares about those two really.

The Eagles could get way more if they dealed with Carlton. If thats the best the Pies will offer they will laugh.

And getting rid of Fraser is just stupid and wont happen. Whos going to tap the ball to Judd?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

So far (as far as I can gather from BF) our round 1 team will look like this:

B: Mattner (Ade) McGregor (Ade) Morris (VFL - Wer)
HB: Rokefeller (VFL - Wer) McDougall (WCE) Whitnall (Carl)
C: Eagleton (PA) Adcock (BL) Akermanis (BL)
HF: Schultz (Rich) Waite (Carl) Robertson (Mel)
F: Street (Geel) Fevola (Carl) Hudson (Ade)
Foll: Wood (BL) Boyd (VFL - Fr) Judd (no chance but every club has been mentioned)

Entirely made up of recycled players, unless somelike like Johnno or Cooney can crack a game in the likely absence of Chris Judd...

For some reason Adelaide TV is reporting that Tiller wants to stay a dog.
Probably due to the stupid article in Adelaide (ahem) Advertiser.

And no doubt the only reason that Tiller was named is because he happens to be from SA.

Using that logic, I've heard that Hargrave wants to go to Freo and Williams to the Lions:D

Thanks for the heads up, but spill the beans, who is he, where's he play etc...
Yep it is

It's really not that difficult.

If you want Judd, you need pick 5 - no-one else is going to help you out with an early pick. Pick 5 will cost you Reid.

As you know Judd is down to 4 clubs.
Carlton ?
Collingwood Most likely
Melbourne Sentimental Fav
Essendon ? No coach Board in up upheaval.

I think it will be Collingwood who is firming as Favorite with Judd. Remember it is his decision where he wants to go. Melbourne could pull a coo if they pull something out today but I don't think so.

So Collingwood will have the box seat with WCE. Good players will be on the table for him. It will come down to if WCE want the draft pick for something they see in the draft they want or they are happy with the player they want.

Reid for pick 5 could be up their but we may find that one of Reid, Pendulbery, or Thomas is heading West. I don't think he will cost anymore than one of these players and maybe a draft pick

Sorry to go off on a tangent a bit here.
This whole Judd thing is a farce. His manager ruled the Saints basically because of the board issues but doesn't rule out Essendon?
Won't go to us becuase of Aker, coming from drug heaven club and doesn't rule out Collingwood who have terrible discipline.

Leigh Matthew's is right. Judd is just a whore and the club that gets to sleep with him will be the one that pays the most.
I hope it all backfires for Judd and his new club.

My thoughts to Ern, seems like he's prostituting himself & I can see why Leigh Matthews feels it's distasteful.
