Its hard to see how we dont suck?

I actually think our midfield will be the strongest lart of our side next year. We need a huge year from Laverde, 35 goal year 20 games i dont think its entirely beyond him, now is his time and last shot. Hooe he stops spending all his time in front of the mirros making himself look big and get out on the green grass more
If we can bottle what we brought against the Pies for most games, then we won't suck (funnily enough Merrett missed that game).

We lost Saad, Townsend, Hibberd, Fantasia & Smack from that game
We ideally gain Heppell for the season, add Merrett, Wright is better than Smack & Hind gives us some pace to replace Saad.
plus 3 draftees who will all vie for rising star in 2021....yeah?

Plus Draper over Phillips :)

if we trade back with the pies I wouldn't mind Ford at all if we grab Reid and Cox early. He looks on par with Perkins and ultimately they are both being drafted on midfield potential which if doesn't come to fruition I can see Ford as the much better forward option

I only picked Horne and Sinn because they're the only ones I've heard of haha.

If we do suck next year and Merrett does want out at least the talent next year is super.

Here are some more to read about.

Campbell Chesser.
Tyler Sonsie.
Josh Rachele.
Ben Hobbs.
Toby Conway.
Matthew Roberts.
Jacob Van Rooyen.
Cooper Murley.
Arlo Draper.
Matthew Dnistriansky.
Sam Banks.
Cooper Beecken.
Judd McVie.
Rhett Bazzo.
Josh Gibcus.
Josh Rentsch.
Tex Wanganeen.
Josh Fahey.
Braden Andrews.

If North are to get pick 24 from hawks could 11+24 be of interest for a 6,7,8 (Before bids)
Given 8 could get us 14 & 16 or one of them and Pies F1, i'd say no.

If it's Cox & Reid @ 6 & 7, i'd split 8 with the Pies (Assuming they have interest after we take the two players they'd likely be after)
O'Driscoll with one pick, see which draft the other is in. If it's this one, another mid.
Bruuhn, Perkins, Carroll, Henry, Stone, Poulter, Macrae all good options

If the Crows take McDonald then most of the pick trading will dry up.
Except if Thilthorpe manages to slide (but I agree)

i reckon the Pies & Giants would both have interest in Reid & Cox.
Both may be looking to trade up.

doubtful we'd do both picks, but could set next year up.
Get the two bidding one of 13, 14, 15, 16 + an F1 for each of the picks.

Highest bidder gets highest pick.
we take 3 this year, 3 next year (4 if Merrett leaves)

If legit, then genuine amateur hour.

At Tuesday's draft rehearsal involving clubs logging in to the online link remotely, rivals spotted Perkins, Cox and Brayden Cook's names circled and placed alongside the magnets of already-listed Bombers in different parts of the ground.

Every club was able to see each other’s recruiting or list manager in the online meeting, with the national draft to be held virtually for the first time ever.

Don’t like to hear that probs my means we aren’t taking cox or Perkins 😢. Dodoro playing games again

I'm not sure about that. Though it is interesting that they are three different players to those mentioned by Cal.

Maybe it's a double red herring. We're picking one of the three.

Also don't understand the logic of bidding on Campbell at the third of our picks

I personally think trading pick 10 for 17 + 20 or 10 for F1 and pick 17/20 i think is dream stuff

We would need to give something significant back i feel

There is every chance F1 becomes far better than pick 10 this year on its own even though theyre losing that pick next year its an asset that they can do what the dogs did with it this year

The points margin is only 500+ out and thats what the pies are worried about both this year and next

I could be way off but i just dont see pick 10 getting any 2 of F1,17,20

Id be super annoyed if the dons were on the other end doing that and im aure many on here would be aswell that are suggesting it

Anyone have access to the Herald Sun's Phantom Draft? Interested to see it given how different Balmer's is to Twomey's.

Has us for Perkins, Cox and Bruhn.
