That doesn't sound promising. If that's what you're telling the media I hate to think what the real story is.

I wonder if that's why a lot of the draft watchers had him high up in the order but maybe a lot of clubs aren't so keen. Might be why the Hawks put a lot of work into him - they've backed themselves to fix a few dickheads in the past.

Who knows. It's always boring as hell, huge gaps between picks and it just drags until live trades start going through and then you barely have time to process what is going on and miss 6 picks.

The AFL website's pre-draft stuff starts at 6.30, which is half an hour of Twomey giving his late mail etc and then the actual event starts at 7 which is when the Foxtel coverage starts.

I know nothing about Henry as an individual and all of what you say makes sense.

I suppose we're all pre-empting the inevitable Dodoro post draft "X is a flanker but we think he can play in the midfield". You then have to question why he was recruited.

I can't say I'm sold on the investment of a first round pick in a mid-sized forward. Gun mid-sized players tend to get AFL talls who can match their physical ability and then it is only the complete freaks who do it well. Where does Henry fit in a side that should include Wright, Stewart, Stringer and Harry Jones, possibly even Laverde?

Can Henry be taller version of the smalls at Richmond who burn up and down from forward to wing? I suppose nothing about that role requires a forward to be small but a capable runner and hardworking.

That is what those who have seen the most of him tell me. Strong mark as well.
