We need to replace a LOT of tall players.
Picks outside the first round are extremely unlikely to have a long career. By taking 4 talls we're giving ourselves the best shot at developing an elite spineDo we not rate our NGA kids by going tall early?
Considering we were looking/chasing inside mids pre draft it was surprising we went 2 talls and a flanker.
Yes. We need match winners. We only have Stringer so we needed to pick players with the highest ceiling and hope they come good. I only know what I've read but it seems our three picks are high ceiling personified.I think this is the best option long term. Pick the good KP players while they are available. Did not matter who we picked. Next year was always looking to be bottom 6.
Saad does not fit the description.
Doggies might trade up, as they don't have a very deep midfield.Macrae is a nice slider for whoever gets him.
And small forwardsDon't GWS really need defenders?

GWS perplex me.
Maybe McCartney is a doggies hatchet jobAnd small forwards
Looks that way. Got their Stevenson replacement and get two decent midfield prospects.Pies have done really well.
