Yeh Im not sure on Waterman
He's basically a Mitch Wallis. He's probably worth a very late crack but I'm not sure he has enough height to play his forward role at AFL because he's slow and at 182cm you cant be slow as a fwd
Cal Twoomey’s latest phantom guide.
Doesn’t seem to have O’Driscoll.
Alex Davies goes straight to GC without being bid on in the draft.

Will you two get a room - pleaseCal Twomey's October phantom is out now, interesting to see that he hasn't got Nathan O'Driscoll in his top 25 and Trew scrapes in at 25.

There is a a substantial variance in rankings at this stage for a number of players. What has happened to O'Driscoll? He seemed to be a lock for top ten a few months ago.

Has the highest bust potential for the first 10-15 prospects imo5. Tanner Bruhn
Best position: Inside midfield/general forward
Height, weight: 182cm, 73kg
Recruited from: Geelong Falcons
Projected draft range: 3-15
Preseason ranking: 5
Rationale: One of the standout talents in this draft and would be higher if not for some knee troubles.
Strengths: Precise kick, composure with ball in hand, evasion, agility, speed, versatility to play forward or through the midfield, wins first possession at stoppages, contested ball winning, scoreboard impact.
Weaknesses: Injury history, limited recent exposed form.
Sounds like an Essendon pick
and by the sounds of it Geelong are keen. So good chance if we have 6 & 7 to split one into a couple of 1sts.Has the highest bust potential for the first 10-15 prospects imo
If we end with 6+7 we should definitely try split one of them. Lions might look to try and package up both first rounders due to their lack of list spots. Especially if they are keen on a few of their academy kids.and by the sounds of it Geelong are keen. So good chance if we have 6 & 7 to split one into a couple of 1sts.
Evenness of this draft could work for us. Keep Dodoro focused on needs rather than hoarding talent.
6 into a couple of later 1sts
Load some picks up to the Dogs for their 1st
Phillips + O'Driscoll + Perkins + Cox would be a nice little haul.
Esp if we can get 1-2 of O'Halloran, Smith, Constable or Brodie in too
Would rather we don't grab Phillips otherwise would be happy. Just don't need another short midfielderand by the sounds of it Geelong are keen. So good chance if we have 6 & 7 to split one into a couple of 1sts.

Yep let's fix the size issue in our midfield by drafting another midget.and by the sounds of it Geelong are keen. So good chance if we have 6 & 7 to split one into a couple of 1sts.

Unknown yet, waiting to see when Cricket is scheduling things then putting a date around it. Plus trade period isn't officially locked inWhat date is the draft?
Jury is out for me as Poulter being able to play an on ball mid, his stoppage work is pretty average. I see him more as a tall winger/ half forward. If we have say 7 and 8, and trade one to Geelong for a couple in the teens for say 13 and 16 (something would have to go back) , i would take Caleb Poulter at 13 and O'Driscoll at 16.
I am big on Poulter, has enormous upside as a big mid with a booming kick.
We do need a tall winger, could do worse then himJury is out for me as Poulter being able to play an on ball mid, his stoppage work is pretty average. I see him more as a tall winger/ half forward.
He doesn’t have that quick agility, side step etc that tall mids need at stoppages, it’s hard to develop something like that. It’s usually something that comes naturally to a player. We do need a tall winger, could do worse then him
Poulter is the tall mid I've got my eyes on mid-late first round. Probably there at the Pies pick and is a list fit. High impact per possession, can rest forward and take a mark. There is a lot to like. He's not as strong/big/tall as Cripps, but has a power to him and has an aggressive edge to him. I like his scope to develop a lot. From Knightmare
Sell the farm Dodo
Hence i said upside. He reminds me of a young Ryan O'Keefe from Sydney, who started his AFL career as a 190cm lead up half forward/wing hybrid before transitioning to midfield eventually.Jury is out for me as Poulter being able to play an on ball mid, his stoppage work is pretty average. I see him more as a tall winger/ half forward.
