Has played no midfield to my knowledge. I compare him to James Sicily, he has played mostly forward but in his short time down back last year he really caught me eye as a rebound defender who can intercept and also cause damage with his confidence and composure with ball in hand. Can anyone fill me in on Oliver Henry?? His brother was great for the cats last night, seems to be a good size for modern footy but is he more of a flanker than a midfielder??
Hollands with an ACL injury no thanks need players with a clean bill of health

I just think he is the biggest boom or bust pick in this draft if he ends up well then good oh but just don't want us to take that riskgumbleton clean bill of health u18 - injury prone afl career
Selwood injuries in u18 - durable afl career

There's no guarantee with any player that you pick how their body will go. Hollands could go onto having an injury free career while the guy we pick might struggle to get on the park. Saints took king and that call is going to pay dividends.
I dont think there is any chance of him being a bust. He's a special talent, knees are rehabbed so well these days.I just think he is the biggest boom or bust pick in this draft if he ends up well then good oh but just don't want us to take that risk

Not like the days like JohnsonThe surgery on an ACL these days has very very few complications.

I just know our luck we will be in years 10 percent hahaSure you will find players like Johnson or Patton. Nothing is ever going to be perfect. Facts are more than 90% come back without issues.
Usually it’s not the reco in repetitive situations like that. His body wasn’t made for afl footy and clearly had structural issues. Not like the days like Johnson
We have no Talls so this would set us up
Keys Cox Reid Eyre Brand Ridley Jones Francis and Zerk
Grab Constable and OHalloran
I thought Begley lost pace and he wasn’t quick to start with. A few years back when acl surgery not as sophisticated but Froggy Davey lost his express pace. Dempsey kept his pace after ACL. Draper moves well for a big guy post ACL but I never saw him pre.I just know our luck we will be in years 10 percent haha
It also comes down to how committed the person is to doing everything right in rehab and not getting lazy with it. I’ve done 2 myself and I wasn’t doing afl level rehab. That’s why I’m reserved if we’ll ever see the best of mozzie again, looked like a really bad knee to start with and I’m not sure he’s got the commitment to high level rehab as say someone like heppell.I thought Begley lost pace and he wasn’t quick to start with. To be fair, the only genuine 'tall' proven at AFL level, in the right age profile with games played is Stwart. Ambrose get's a hall pass through virtue of being unsighted since Sept 5, 2019.You can’t say in good faith ‘we have no talls’ and then list all of the guys already on the list, leave off Bryan and Crauford as well as all the established players as well.
I am more and more convinced that Poulter is the real deal. Played great starting from the center in the all-stars game.
Dumesny is very attractive as a player too. A player like him who has a very low clanger rate is very attractive considering what we have put up with recently.
Holder is the SA player who I struggle with most to place.
He might be too short for his potential role but I wonder if he will grow to 193cm or 194cm anyway. He is 191cm before his 18th birthday.
He is super consistent, has the highest rate for contested marks that I have ever seen in any competition and he makes good decisions with the ball.
He might be a great candidate for a gamble late in the draft, but I generally don't like those types of gambles.
He would need plenty of time to mature.if Cox is there at at either of the lions picks he is very much worth a look
I think with Poulter you will get the Jarrod BerryI like the sound of Dumsney &/or Poulter. From what the guys on the D,T & FA board, Caleb is a real, genuine wingman.
He is such a perplexing kid. Some on BF have him inside the top 10, Cal Twomey has hi outside his 25 ("The next 15")O’Driscoll has to be the man for us. Massive potential, modern game of two way running. Complements everything we have in the middle and could even slot in straight away on hbf while we phase out Heppell and Shiel in coming years. Regardless of what happens in the trades, we need this man.
Got that trait of Oliver and Green where he gets the ball above the tackle really quickly.
