Or if Thilthorpe is available at pick 6 we could trade with Adelaide and get 9 and 23 or something like that.
We'd then have to dump 23 somehow. Get back into next year's 2nd round maybe.

we could use 7, 8, 9 & 23.
But 44 becomes useless if Brand/Eyre bids don't come (unless we use it to take one of them)
Would mean there is no space for DFA though.

If we pass on Thilthorpe, i'd want 9 & Adel F1 with change going back to them
Adelaide would need to make it very enticing for us to let him slide.
They'd be getting two players in contention for pick 1 this year.

Do we have 6 spots?

Thilthorpe will be available at our selection I think.

Logan - Crows
JUH - Dogs
Hollands - Norf
DGB - Swans
Campbell - Swans
Perkins - Hawks
Phillips - Suns
Think this may be the case too. Although Hawks may take him instead of Perkins, the don't have a lot of KPP depth.

They need every type of player tbh, Phillips also a chance but I think they need a bigger body like us, Worp, Titch and Phillips may be too same same.

Crows decision is super interesting.

But whats stopping North, Crows, GWS, Freo from bidding?
Nothing, but if they do then they can match with 16 outright and get a top 10 pick.

So its essentially two options
If they trade with us they get Top 10 pick + McInnes (matched with 16)
If they dont and we bid it is McInnes and pick 16-18.

If Perkins isn’t available at 6 why not just tell Collingwood we’re going to bid on McInnes at 6 instead unless they trade our pick 8 for something like 18 and their 2021 first round pick? No point being nice about it.
They probably dont have the interest in matching

Its not a game its whether we legitimately aant the player or not and whether we rate him at 6-7

We should be bidding on Campbell first up that at least brings pick 44 in

Hopeful like many others that we dont end up with Phillips his kicking seems suspect from highlights. Tom Powell looks much better

Nothing I just think that they're unlikely to do it. McInnes seems to be lower rated than a lot of other mids projected to go in the 8-12 range but suits us because we're after big bodied mids as opposed to medium sized mids.

But lose a 10 pick next year

People need to remember their no certainly to match. Without looking at points it also likely blows pick 18(16) out?

I think they'd trade pick 16 and take their chances at McInnes not getting a bid before pick 12 to be honest.

I know people keep on talking about O'Driscoll, but I honestly think we're more likely to grab Tom Powell if we trade back, or even at pick 8.
Exactly what we need, tough accumulator who can play round 1.
yeah, do like the write up on Powell.
Would be happy with a trade back & 2x accumulator mids + 2x KP players (Reid & either Thilthorpe or Cox)

Which they will likely lose next year anyway due to Daicos being top 5 at this point.

Perhaps we offer our two future 3rds next year, so it is essentially 3 x 3rds for Daicos points plus sliding pick 14 into the top 10 for a first rounder they will need to lose anyway.

Am I crazy thinking Adelaide will grab Denver Grainger-Barrass? I genuinely believe he's the best player in the draft, seems like a game changer and a red lit beacon of the modern game.
My only reason for saying they won’t take DGB is the media have consistently reported they’re deciding between Logan, Holland or Thilthorpe.
