It’s more the case of who I don’t want from next years draft haha plenty of talent
if we move 8 to 14 and grab the pies F1 pick, which im predicting falls between 8 & 12
And ours is top 6.

Who do you grab this year and next (and what do they do?)

Looking forward to the mental gymnastics I'll perform to convince myself I'm stoked with Phillips. Better start stretching
caught up on the Rendell interview on Open Mike last night
He compared Phillips to Rowell for work ethic.
I'll take that.

He really had an impressive finals series.

Averaging 19 touches and 6 rebound 50s

His ability to spin and step is the aspect of his game that will help him translate. It's more likely that he will be able to maintain his quality disposal at the higher level given he has some tricks.

It's tough because I've spent the past month convincing myself that the Fab 5 are all shithouse and that Perkins and Cox are the true top players in this draft

Phillips, Perkins and Cox is basically the dream come true. If all three are available, stuff Collingwood and any other trades and just take them.

Rather, a player like Will Phillips would be ideal for the Crows, but draft sources believe Phillips is not in the same category as the aforementioned quartet. Foxfooty.com.au understands the tough Chargers ball magnet has slipped out of top five contention, with Essendon looking more likely to snare him with one of its three top-10 picks.

Guarantee hawks go Cox or Perkins
Nah hawks will go DGB

Perkins at 4, Cox at 5
Thilthorpe & Phillips :)
But I've already convinced myself that they're not good. Will take me about another month after we draft then to convince myself they're good and another month after that to convince myself that they tie for the Rising Star whilst winning the Coleman and Brownlow each.

DGB to Swans a monty would think
They will go best available so if one of Hollands or McDonald become available I think they will opt for one of those two.

Most clubs draft BA with very early picks rarely do they take the ‘obvious’ need.

To be fair I am half-joking. Phillips looks good, but also handball-happy and a little apprehensive to kick, which is something I would say about a few of our mids already.

Ultimately, it won't matter if he's as effective on the inside as hoped. Particularly if we can jag another inside mid amongst our three top tens.

Most clubs rate Hollands / JUH best players in the crop.
I think hollands is sliding for some reason but won't get past the hawks surely
