Nathan O’Driscoll fits that bill

8, 42, 63, 69, 72 heading into this round.

However Freo with pick 6 lose 265-ish points off their first (currently at 6) which puts our pick above theirs.

It’s disappointing we won’t be seeing many, if any kids from Victoria play this year. Sounds almost exactly the type of kid we need in our midfield

Ambrose (Old Xavs), Francis and Snelling (West Adelaide) all wore red and black before here too. Saad payed for Coburg which is virtually identical, as did Hartley. Who else?

I was using my keen eye yesterday and honestly I’d say 188cm. He was clearly taller than someone listed at 185 but shorter than someone listed at 190. Either way he is still growing going from 182cm last year to 187cm in March this year.

I know the 2-3cm can make all the difference in AFL, but 188cm for someone of O'Driscolls style, more than happy with that for anyone that picks him up. You're usually pretty good with your height estimates as well, guess I was still tricked by the photo he did with McDonald and DGB

I don’t think DGB is the 195cm he tested at, 192 max from what I saw from him this year. The team sheets even has him at 188cm.

Snuck in on high heels for testing day maybe? Definitley thought he was shorter but 188 to 195 would be shocking on behalf of those measuring

He reminds mebof Ridley, does young DGB. I think Ridley was 189cm going into his draft year, grew to 191cm by the end of 2016 and is about 193cm now.

I imagine the DGB could be similar, also they play very similar styles.

A good chance, I haven’t seen anyone else rate him as high as I do so I can’t say if scouts feel the same. It’s a very even draft crop this year and it will surely be a phantom drafters nightmare. Expect a lot of bolters and sliders compared to recent drafts.

The other thing with this is years draft is due to the lack of games from almost half of the class, a lot of the clubs will see some kids very very differently.
