Do Sydney still finish bottom 3 with a happy Daniher in the side?No chance imo. Might to slip to 3 at best. Sydney’s pick had we have traded Daniher wouldn't be too bad right now [emoji26]
He’s prelisted by the suns. Won’t be taken on draft night. Is Davies an option with our top pick or is that too high for him?

I'm hoping Wil PHILLIPS will still be there. Is Davies an option with our top pick or is that too high for him?
Too short for meI'm hoping Wil PHILLIPS will still be there.
Free agency has the same problem, as do priority picks. Ultimately, the salary cap is supposed to take care of it. In reality they take salary cuts for success and part-time roles with club affiliates to help 'set them up post-footy', so don't seem to get squeezed out quite so easily as you'd otherwise imagine.does anyone find these strange claims to players completely in opposition to equalisation?
The only one i'd support would be father-son, because I'm a bit of traditionalist.
Oh so you wouldn’t have drafted Matt Rowell last year if we had the number 1 pick cause his 178cm?Too short for me

O'Halloran every day of the week. Will be cheaper, and fits our profile better. Caldwell is just another undersized midfielder.I haven’t watched enough GWS this year. If it came down to it, Caldwell or O’Halloran?
O'Halloran. Like mentioned, Caldwell is pretty similar to the type of players we already have.I haven’t watched enough GWS this year. If it came down to it, Caldwell or O’Halloran?
I'm keen on Blakely too, but I'm not sure he's gettable anymore. He returned to the side with a 23 disposal game and Longmuir spoke glowingly then of his importance to the side going forward and of how he was challenged to go away and learn more about his role and did. Longmuir feels like Blakely is his star student at the moment. At this stage id like to see:
Keep Daniher
Keep Saad
Turn Fantasia into X OHalloran
Turn Guelfi into C Blakely
Pick 6 - best mid
Trade 41 to St Kilda for Paton
Remaining picks - 61, 69, 70, 79 used for points for C Brand and J Eyre

Davies is pre listed by GC so bo bid required ala Budarick last year. I'd be hoping we're the ones bidding on McInnesSo we have pick six but that will likely end up being pick 8 due to Campbell and Ugle-Hagan though could be pushed further if people bid on McInnis or Davies? Is that correct?
If Phillips or Hollands don't slide to us we could be looking at Perkins or Bruhn as the best midfielders? Do we take a punt on someone like Grainger-Barrass or Cox?
Draft this year seems like such a crapshoot.

If our pick ends up being 10 after all the bids, i would rather pick up O'Driscoll than Perkins.IF Adelaide get pick 2 for Crouch:
1. Ade: L. McDonald
2. Ade: E. Hollands
3. WB: J. Ugle-Hagan (NM bid)
4. NM: R. Thrilthorpe
5. Syd: W. Phillips
6. Syd: B. Campbell (Haw bid)
7. Haw: D. Grainger-Barrass
8. GC: T. Bruhn?
9. Col: R. McInnes (Ess bid)
10. Ess: A. Perkins?
I think if Bruhn is still available at our pick we should try to organise a pick swap with Geelong to maybe get multiple first round picks
I prefer him too, but I have little faith that we'd take himIf our pick ends up being 10 after all the bids, i would rather pick up O'Driscoll than Perkins.

Lol they wouldn't trade all three.I dont mind this idra at all.
Watch Geelong trade out 11, 15, 16 (currently) and end up with a top 5 pick. Wells would be hailed a genious if he isn't already
He played five middling games, getting mostly good numbers but butchering the ball, then was dropped for the last month of the season.I'm keen on Blakely too, but I'm not sure he's gettable anymore.
