So here is what i think might happen

1. McDonald (Adel)
2. Ugle-Hagan (WBD)
3. Hollands (NM)
4. Grainger-Barass (Syd)
5. Phillips (Haw)
6. Cox (GCS)

Now what i want to happen
Trade 6 and 68 to Adelaide for 10, 40 and 2021 2nd) so they can take Thilthorpe
We now have 7, 8, 9, 40 and 44
Then
7. Perkins
8. Henry

Then trade 9 and and 2 x 2021 3rds to Collingwood for (now) 16 and 2021 first

We then take O'Driscoll with 16 (will be 18 after Cambell amd Jones bids) and use 40 and 44 to match bids for Eyre & Brand.

We walk away with Perkins, Henry, O'Driscoll (all can play R1 2021 btw) and a 2021 draft haul of 2 x firsts, Adelaide 2nd not much else...

Lots of ifs buts and maybes, but here is hoping

Your basically declaring your hand by saying your not interested in Thilthorpe when getting on the blower. So why wouldnt they wait till pick 10 to grab him?

What 200cm bas actually worked on the wing?

I must admit i like your strategy. Im hopefuly Cox can eventually make it as a key forward and worst case scenario be an excellent defender. I believe in the same logic. Easiest position in the AFL to play is defense and hardest is as a forward

Cox will be impossible to match up on as a KPF runs all day like N Roo and is ambidextrous

Yeah I was more referring to blicavs running capacity as a big man.

If your scenario eventuates, I'd get on the front foot and call Adelaide ourselves, tell them to '**** off.' Then take Thilthorpe ourselves.

They are looking if Thilthorpe is there trading 4 to Adelaide for 9 and a one of their seconds to help secure Downie

I initially thought 2 mids made sense but how on earth can you pass up 2 kids who are 200cm plus, elite kicks, elite marks and elite runners?
