Personally loved what we did and exactly what I wanted leading into it. There were no big bodied inside mids where our picks were that justified not going tall. When you look at the next 2 years and how strong next year's mids look plus trying to get an Oliver/Dunkley type and the Davey twins coming through, they should be hitting the senior team at the same time the talls are starting to come good so could be a great core of 15 players all playing together for a long period even if a couple of the talls don't come along.

Hows the Davey twins tracking ? Do we have other potential father sons/NGA players coming up?

Not 100% on a lot as harder to follow progress living in WA. From what I've watched and read Davey twins are tracking nicely with Alwyn rated higher than Jaden. Nice clean hands and good movement, good skills. Jaden recovering well from his injury. Josh Misiti is a big unit already but I've seen he's been played CHF and CHB and thought he didn't look comfortable back. At 84 or so kgs already people are wondering if he'll become the type of mid we need but I haven't seen anything to comment on what his tank is/will become. Tex will most likely nominate Port unless Davey twins convince him at school next year so I haven't even bothered watching any of his games etc. Other people on here would be able to give you a better overview of all those guys though as I rely on being able to watch them on YouTube etc and read what other people have posted about them.

It's a pity she works for them. Her work at The Age was always good, and now no one gets to hear from her except the half a dozen people in that room.

I kind of expected them to have a bit more energy too, but it could be because of the way it's edited as well.

Exactly you’d think they’d learn that talented kids aren’t happy staying interstate to play 2nd tier competitions because there position is stacked with similar A grade senior players.

If any teams other than Essendon should’ve been looking at bolstering it’s spine it would’ve been the Giants and Kangaroos.

Strange giants overlooked Chapman.

I guess MCCartney took Bruhn because he believes he’d be worth a top 5 pick after 2 years and 11 games.
