Thoughts on Charlie Constable D_P_S ?

Friends of the family's lad, was told he did pretty well over the weekend. Good odds to be drafted?

Yep I really like him. Seen him play a few games for Haileybury aswell and he dominated those games. He is a proven big bodied ball winner and tough as nails. He is on the slower side but that's his only negative thus far. His kicking was poor early in the year but that has improved massively.
 
Can anyone shed any light on why Charlie Spargo has not played Allies for last two games.
He was being put up as a reason to change rules around GWS hold on Albury area for talent.
I suspect he is injured, but haven't heard what the exact nature of any setback.

Yep a real shame he is still a certainty to be drafted so hopefully he can get it right to be in top shape to start a pre-season at his new club for next year
 
Some TAC highlights from this week if you like the look of a few players on here just let me know their jumper number and I'll be able to tell you about them, the last highlight is of Mitch Riordan who looks a very good prospect from Dandenong for next year, plays under Lloydy at Haileybury.

Another who had looked good . Glad for him he has made it back, not as good for us as he could have been a bit out of sight out of mind and slipped down the order a bit.
 
Hey DPS what's your thoughts on Brayden Crossley?

Kevin Sheehan likened him to Shane Mumford for his physicality in the stoppages, any good otherwise? If he goes late could be worth a flier on him

I like his attack aswell, what ive heard from clubs is they see him as a late draft prospect, he is tied to the GC academy so either way he will end up a Sun.

Personally think he should go higher but Ruckman tend to go later and considering his athleticism isn't the best he looks a late pick at best.

He has been a consistent ball winner this year constantly getting around 30 touches. His main issue has always been his kicking which is the worst out of any player I've watched this year or last. He is 190cm so much taller and Darcy. Cassidy is still a good prospect despite the kicking but another thing I'd like him to improve is kid tackling. For a player with his height and ball winning he needs another extra dimension to counteract his bad kicking

Jobe was a woeful kick as well.
Not saying Cassidy is going to be a as good as Jobe, but they are a similar size and Jobe has rectified his kicking to a somewhat consistent kick.
Is cassidy's kicking rectifiable or is the action so shot it is a lost cause

As someone who has coached Jnr footy I believe kicking can be improved. One of his major issues is he will slow down when he is about to kick in most cases it's a god thing but in Cassidys case he loses a lot of momentum in his kicking because he slows down so much
