Think the plan is without (Joey) for the future

Ruck: Draper
CHF: H.Jones
FF: N.Bryan
3rd Tall KF: Gown

With the option of just playing Gown, Stringer, H.Jones as the 3 talls and Draper as ruck

Okay, okay, the grand plan is to have the worlds greatest number 2 ruck play reserves every week.
Well if that happens that would be great wouldn't it!

Otherwise, we just develop both of them and see what happens, and in 2 years when Phillips and TBC are gone, we will have Draper and a much more developed Bryan to carry the ruck load and see which one comes out on top.

Is this a magical world where injuries don't exist?

I take it you're not a fan of Melbourne picking Luke Jackson either when they have Max Gown and Preuss.....

And best case scenario if they both end up being good players why can't he play forward and do relief ruck like Lobb used to do for Mumford?

I guess the other thing is that neither Draper or Bryan are any certainty to make it so you hedge your bets by making sure there's a couple of developing rucks on the list to spread the risk.

Rucks tend to hold their value pretty well aswell

Dodoro certainly thinks both can work together I'm guessing we see Bryan as potentially a FWD/Ruck in the Mason cox role

Verified 2020 draft order for those curious. Won't change anymore now until the 2020 trade period. Some clubs clearly stockpiling. We've swapped our second and third rounders for Gold Coast's third rounder and a couple of extra fourth rounders so far.

We also can't trade our first rounder in 2020 unless we trade in another one at the same time. The 2 first rounders in 4 years rule is in effect.

eDPS Why did Jones slide to 30? What is the knock on him? Just raw? most draft profiles are extremely glowing of the kid.
He was well in the mix for top 20 but in such an even draft players fell that weren’t expected such as Robertson who drifted even though multiple clubs had him top 10

His questions are that he is raw and his output hasn’t matched the potential but that’s the whole point of drafting which is identifying what they will do in the future not just how they perform now.

So your saying he is a combination of franklin and Cameron?
