Found the AFL Phantom rather interesting, some players that have been pumped up on Big Footy have sllid well down the order, while others who have barely raised a mention have gone much earlier than expected.

Going to be an interesting draft tomorrow night.

This article suggests that the entire first round will be done in reverse order.

Contrary to what they this does not build up the suspense it kills the whole event.

Judd slipped in the draft because clubs believed his shoulder problems would be ongoing and debilitating. So I think SAtiger11 is relating that scenario to Heppell's situation if in fact the groin rumors are true.

Yeah but he's assuming that the groin is going to solely mean that he will slip and that there's no risk involved ONLY because Judd's shoulders have held up.

Draft has been on 7 & 10 IIRC, last few years its been on Fox, last year it went primetime for the first time as it used to be on Saturday mornings.

Its down to to eithier Polec, Heppel or even Conca (but i doubt it). People have said were keen on Josh Caddy, Shaun Atley, Sebastian Tape and Tom Lynch but im yet to read from any key sources that were currently interested in any of them.
