I just hope that Darling isn't the next Pavlich and we overlook him for another Fiora.

I think we will end up with pick 8 so people may need to revise their selections.
Brisbane won't win another game (they won't even beat Essendon this week) and I can see us beating Port, which means pick 8 instead of 6.

*facepalm*
Want pick 6. Atley will be 100% gone by pick 8, maybe even a couple others in our sights. I want a better quality kid over a round 22 win I won't remember a few weeks later when the preseason comes.
Maybe Deledio and Martin need a rest in round 22. Lids arm has been troubling him all year, Martin a 1st year kid and is taking a battering under the packs weekly.
Let's just hope Brisbane beat Essendon so we don't have to worry about it. Very unlikely though.
Judging by the amount of players that have been put on the shelf and the selections over the last few weeks I'd suggest that Hardwick and co are well aware of what a win in the next 2 weeks means and are doing their level best to ensure that we don't.
Whatever GC kids we can trade for.....So what are some others to have a look at
2 more elite quality mids will ensure we have the best engine room in the game in 2-3 years. We want the best, not a very good one. I believe we are just about right in terms of stocks for talls, providing most of our young talls develop (i.e. post)Agree.
I think we will beat Port although they have been playing ok lately so they may suprise us. Ideally Brisbane win this weekend and I think they are a big chance if Brown plays and its his 200th. That way we can win in rnd 22 with no downside.
Atley would be a very nice addition to the midfield.
Cotchin, Martin, Deledio, Foley, Atley is a FAB FIVE

I wouldn't be so sure. We'll be at near full strength and the boys will want to send Cuz out on a high. I think we'll beat Port.Don't worry guys, just look at tomorrow's side against the Saints - no second ruckman, Post at CHF, Taylor and Astbury also on the forward line. Hardwick is expirementing and is already thinking of next year, so we will not win against Port either. Pick 6 is in the bag.
Not a chance in hell gold coast would even consider that! We would get laughed out of the room!I wouldn't be so sure. We'll be at near full strength and the boys will want to send Cuz out on a high. I think we'll beat Port.
As for who we get with pick 6/8, Atley will be out of the equation at 8 and quite possibly at 6. Some people are massive wraps for Polec. I've said it before, I would love to see us nab Josh Toy from GC if it's true he's asked to be traded to a Melbourne club. Ideally we'd help them with their need for experienced players by trading them McGuane and Tuck for Toy and their 2nd/3rd rounder, holding onto pick 6/8, which for once I wouldn't mind seeing us trade (if we got Toy) if it got us Jackson Trengove and Port's 2nd rounder. Toy, Trengove and picks 27, 30, 31.I don't know how feasible those suggestions are but it's what I'd be aiming for.
