It also helps that Brisbane has drinkable water.Agreed
And it's Beautiful Brisbane vs Adelaide as well. I love Adelaide but it's not in same league of beautiful cities with the perfect climate that Brisbane is
Not likely Gold Coast look the most likely to bid on the other teams Academy players

I don't think that they'd care they have plenty of points available next yeardont they have a high pick academy player next season? Would be stupid to bid on each other
I don't think that they'd care they have plenty of points available next year
You're all ignoring how massive the impact of his brother's death has been on his family.
Sure, he liked Hird and when his brother was alive they talked about Brisbane. But all of that has changed and the impact on his family was huge.
Agreed

Unfortunately Port didn't really want to keep Butcher, Pittard or Oshea though....![]()
One of: NM/Port/Ess/WC to draft Aidyn Johnson with a pick in the 20-30 range
My sources.Bay13 is elsewhere on Bigfooty
Where did this come from?
My sources.
Helps that I know the kid.
Each club that I stated wants him in that draft range of 20-30.Okay ... has he said much about what the clubs have said to him ... apart from the bleeding obvious
Happy to take him if he slides down the order.Rubbish.
He is happy to go to Essendon or Brisbane. After speaking to someone very close to him on the weekend that is still the case. He is concerned that there has been some negative stuff reported about him wanting to stay in Adelaide and because of this he feels he may slip down the draft order a bit

I'm guessing he must have enjoyed his time with Richmond VFL and some of the AFL players at punt road.Oliver wants to get to the Tigers.
Fair enough. That was the bleeding obvious I referred to, was looking for something a little more in-depth
I reckon your opinion is clouded by a desire for him to be there when the crows get to pick.
Ryan Burton's medical was not what the clubs wanted to see. Will slide
You sound proud, I suppose draft tampering doesnt look too bad alongside Essendons other indiscretions..... and had private training sessions with Hooker!!
Lake and Grant are two names that should stop you from getting on your high horse. You would be proud if your club contributed to the community like mine has, despite the pack mentality of wanting to mow down a tall poppy for our supplement program. You sound proud, I suppose draft tampering doesnt look too bad alongside Essendons other indiscretions.
i love this conceded bs. Your club are integrity destroyers and that you think they're the only one that positively engages with the community is delusional and pathetic.Lake and Grant are two names that should stop you from getting on your high horse. I'm proud that he wanted to come to the club so badly and would have done the same myself if I was a footballer with that level of talent.
I didn't say they are the only one. I'd just say that through Sheedy, Bev Knight, Michael Long and our commitments to Wadeye, Tiwi Islands, Globall. Essendon and Long were the catalyst to changing racial discrimination rules in Australian sport, which has since gone around the world in sport and into law as well.i love this conceded bs. on the thread topic, doggies like Marcus Adams, you'd think freo have had a look too so it'll be interesting to see where in the draft we'd be biting
your first paragraph outlines a lot of good work that sadly has been undone by disgraceful governance, likely doping, salary cap cheating in 1993.I didn't say they are the only one. Essendon was the first club big club to move into the age of professionalism, North also ahead of that curve but struggled still with a small supporter base.
All other clubs are big on community engagement too and very professional. It's a shame that the club let their levels of professionalism drop and have a snake like Dank completely off the leash in there. Of course the three day investigation cleared all other clubs of doing anything similar.
If he's hurt then Wells will look at him. Done ok out of some players that have slid with injuries. His injury looks closer to Nathan Brown, than anybody else. At what point will somebody bight, and will he be a Selwood or Judd, or a Menzel, Dowler.
