Harper suited the conditions. Charlie is just a gun and on field leader. Benji and Curtin having great games in the conditions.

Farrow isn't a midfielder, not sure why he's talked of as a top 10 pick.

Early days but what do you think Harpers draft range is next year if he keeps steady with his development?

Bit worried the AFL will change the F/S & NGA rules and we miss out on some of these kids.

I guess on the flip side it opens up all the other highly rated players for us

No idea about the depth of the draft, maybe a late or rookie. Van Rooyen, Mellody, Gale look the best prospects from Claremont for next year. Massive tank and a defensively minded player.

Have you seen him play? The guy isn't Brander, he's a massive unit with a huge tank, with those ruck rules changing he will be a massive Weapon for us and a point of difference against other teams, definitely worth a shot.
The ruck rules will be somewhat muted with the sub going, meaning teams will have 5 on the bench and be prepared to play 2 rucks to cover the ground. Brander 2.0 for mine.

Van Rooyen is better than CDT now.

Cody Curtin kicks bags for fun at colts level. I know he's not overly athletic, but can't question his ability to hit the scoreboard.

He's heavy set, not unathletic. Once in an AFL system he could be anything.

After his massive game last week that put him on the draft map in a big way there were plenty of eyes on Sullivan Robey this weekend and he backed it up with another impressive performance. He played more forward than midfield this week but again found plenty of the ball, breaking open the game and setting up attacking moves with his size, pace and power through contact which is proving extremely difficult to contain at this level.

My issue with Robey is that a lot of the time his skills and decision making aren't amazing. He can sure rack up the ball and has plenty of power to his game however. Handballs to players under pressure, not executing basic skills. But if he can be developed there's a potential gem there.

Kicking looks worse than poor.

I wouldn’t have had Farrow pegged as a top 10 pick at all but definitely first round if not just based off potential

That was impressive stuff from Robey. Disposal didn't look great early, but improved significantly as the game went on. Looks a great athlete.

Would be interesting to see how sharp would have performed if he'd spent the second half of the year creaming other U18s instead of playing league.

Amazing a nobody like Robey can insta have a better highlights package and ceiling than potential pick 1/2 Dyson Sharp.

I've seen enough. Time to split and make Robey vice captain behind Baker next year.
Don’t understand the love for Dyson sharp, if eagles don’t select him I can see him falling to the mid teens.

Mid teens? Very very bold call especially given the shallow high end talent

What especially don’t you love ?

His absurdly good blue chip CV is where the love comes from, and a leader to boot.

Ignore those impressive credentials and risk looking totally stupid.

Lack of impact with his disposal, lack of speed, lack of outside game, scoreboard impact and new rules that will reduce the amount of stoppages
