Got told at the start of the season Richmond had a very tough draw.. but apparently now we've got an easy draw.
It doesn’t matter who we play...
Still haven’t beaten anyone

Amazing what just one Richmond premiership has done to oppo fans.:drunk:

MCG isn’t a fortress type ground like Geelong’s,West Coast’s or Adelaide’s.

It’s way too big and the sound is not contained, those grounds I mentioned above have 90 percent home support.

We had a bit of luck playing the Giants in the final but you make your own luck.

We would have beaten Geelong if the final was in Geelong because the 90 percent crowd advantage would have been erased.

You'd think being the reigning premiers that your draw should be relatively easy. You know, seeing as you're the best team in the comp. But keep holding onto that victim card bro.

Richmond still have a very easy draw.
Isn't it meant to even out over 2 or three seasons or has that system been abolished (or only existed in my imagination)? We must have had a tough draw last year and won the flag.

Using that formula for the entire comp Richmond become 9th.
As opposed to the constant injury excuses from the Holden Centre. You claimed a moral victory after a 43point defeat. By the way - by any measure Richmond have a more difficult draw than your pathetic mob. Come back when you have some credibility apart from being a sniping troll on BF.

I don't really see how this shows anything

it's all about the double ups that each team has

I'd say it's more about last year's results and ladder position, which is what each team's draw (outside of blockbusters and special fixtures) is based on.

Sydney 36.5
Fremantle 34
Brisbane 34
Geelong 33
Essendon 33
West Coast 30.5
Hawthorn 30.5
Gold Coast 30
Carlton 29
Nth Melb 28.5
Port Adelaide 28
St Kilda 27.5
Richmond 27
GWS 27
Collingwood 26.5
Western Bulldogs 26.5
Adelaide 25.5
Melbourne 24.5

Happy with that, banking home wins in the tough part of our fixture, if we can snag a few away wins in the back end of the season and continic our good home form we should be a sneaky chance.

Playing 6 teams who missed last years 8 in your first 7 weeks is hard? Kden.

This might be an opportune time to remind everyone that we have another four games to come against teams currently in the bottom four.
It doesn't matter that they're no good this year, last year is all that matters. Apparently.

Of course, only the first third of the season counts right.

I'm looking forward to the richmond-west coast grand final this weekend. You got any trade rumors for next week?

I'm not sure I get it...Collingwood have a rating of 26.5, but are you just supposed to add up the just wins that your opponents have accumulated up to this point of the season?

If yes, Collingwood has played Richmond (7), Geelong (5), Adelaide (5), Hawthorn (5), GWS (4.5), Essendon (2), Carlton (1), Brisbane (0) which equals 29.5

Have I misunderstood the rules?

Your results with those teams don't count - that is the explanation for the "missing" three wins. If you counted your own results too then it would inflate the difficulty of teams lower on the table and deflate the difficulty of those teams that have won more.
