I loved the Countach as a kid, but I dunno.

I think the problem with Lambos is that their styling is so extreme. They are amazing looking when they come out, but they date very quickly.

The best Lambo is still the Miura.

Im not the only one! Hazzah...

I like Audi's (had a Cabriolet when I was younger), but that black panel with the fuel tank entry is so damn ugly, just cheapens the look of the whole car!

This has always been a dream car of mine. Classic, not plastic! :)

Aren't they made of fiberglass? I mean it's not plastic but you could've at least posted a pre 70s muscle car that is actually all steel to go with that statement...Also depending on the year the bumpers are made of poly urethane as well so it might also be plastic...

They had steel chassis with fiberglass bodies, built that way to minimize car weight and increase fuel economy by not having to lug so much metal around. Quite an innovative design for a high performance car.
Bumpers were chrome until the mid-70s.
I liked the early 70s C3 model the best.

Oh agree it was a great design and aside from warping they hold up a lot better than steel cars of that era, well the bodies at least the chassis rust just as bad. Just has to be the first time i've seen a car not made of more or less all metal used to backup the statement you made. Still they at least handled half decent unlike many american cars of that period. But myself I prefer the c2 that or at least a c3 which has chrome bumpers instead of the plastic nosecone.

I'd really love to get my hands on one of these, but as far as I know there are only about six of these Samba Kombis left in Australia

It's hard to look past one of these beauties.

All I need is a spare 20k and a driver's license.
Get a few mates together, steal a few, use them for a bank job and migrate to a sunny destination where your driving with a license charge (amongst others) will never catch up with you.
