Jacob Surjan, 114 DT points v Stk

Is he going to be playing some sort of loose role? Someone to consider maybe?

Not an expect or even a keen follower of the Power, but from what I know he is small defender type and is there to keep his man quiet. The rebounding is left to Salopek and Krakouer(sp?).

Just my take on the situation.

Anyway, what is the take on Carr's spot?

Think he could be a good option?

I actually think Carr could be a very good unique pick. Averaged something like 85 in the preseason and has seemingly reacted well to his return to a real team. Could be a cheap 6th midfielder to keep for the year if he can average about 85-90, which IMO he can.

And to the guy who posted at the same time as me, no Davenport probably won't get a regular game, at least not yet. Could be a regular later in the year though.

For those of you who have been down to watch Port's games or trainings how has Kane's disposal looked this year. I know he's somehow got even fitter and if he can improve his efficiency this year he will be a SC gun.

Apparently in the pre-season it has been quite good. Pearce's disposal has improved the most noticably so check him out for your SC team. ;)

On the dt board, many are saying that you shouldn't pick up Krakouer and that he will not keep his side in the team. They also stated that you are better off going with a cheaper player like Hentschell or Yarren.

Will Krakouer be a successful pick up this year?

Is he in the 22?

What would it take for him to get dropped?

Shaun has had an interrupted pre-season due to hamstring tendonitis, but he should still be a great super coach player (he's not suited to DT). Peter will rack them up and should maintain his price.

Thanks for the info.
This is my first year at S/C and I'm not doing dream team but I'm curious why someone like Shaun would make a good S/C pick but not be suitable for Dream Team. I'm assuming it's got something to do with differing point scoring formats or something but a high posession mid should score well in both shouldn't they?

Early losses, which won't happen considering their initial few opponents.

Yes, but Shaun isn't a high possession mid. He's a goalkicking, damaging, clearance winning mid. That's why he's a gun at SC but not so great at DT.

H2G, read the thread. Plenty has been said on Krakouer.

FYI I will be selecting Krakouer, he will average 60-80 and play for at least the first 3-4 rounds, IF he is selected round 1.

how do you guys think danyle pearce will score this year? and also is malon motlop in your best 22??

cheers:thumbsu:

BILC

Pearce will be an improver this year. Expect bigger numbers than his price suggests. Marlon motlop is not best 22 just yet.

P. Burgoyne or C. Cornes?

Chad. He's more reliable.

Peter isn't a bad choice, the only concern is his scores can go from freaking high to embarrassingly low.

the port faithful i have come to ask about chad cornes in sc, he let me down big time last year.
i wana kno if he will be chad of old, is his body right etc.. i am tossing up him or josh drummond from brissy..

by the way salopek wat a gun he shld explode this year

The only concern with Chad is durability, so if you're deciding between him and Drummond then it's Chad all the way.

And yeah, Salopek is a gun. Hopefully for us he can pull out another 30+ touches and 3 goals game against your mob this week.

Wade thompson is a rookie. Hasn't been officially elevated yet. Choco has stated that it's a matter of "when" not "if", so he'll be playing AFL at some stage this year. My guess is he'll play sooner rather than later, about 60% chance for round 1 IMO.

Justin Westhoff's form in PS was awesome (except for the second game), how's do you guys rate him?

^ the closer westhoff plays the goals the better it is for both port adelaide and your dream team. I rate westhoff and i expect him to improve his output this year.
