Gray is injury prone and is still building strength in his body. With any luck his numbers should gradually increase as he spends more and more time in the middle.

Am thinking about bringing in Peter Burgoyne befroe lock-out tonight. Is there a reason for his poorer scoring since returning to the team ie. different role, injury concern etc...or is he just struggling?

He's playing like a 31 year old who missed a full two weeks of footy early in the season due to his own idiocy and has dropped off the pace because of it.

Robbie Gray was great in the centre last week, but doesn't get great fantasy numbers. Any idea why? I'm trying to build a case to pick him up for my SC team.

I answered this last night but don't know what happened to the post. Gray has spent very little time in the middle, only started going in their late last year when we were trying things after our season was shot. He is a great little clearance machine but injuries and his engine have stopped him becoming a permanent midfielder. So he doesn't get a lot of possessions at hf or fp and he doesn't rack up a lot of useless 1 or 2 foot handballs like Kane Cornes and others in our mid field who try to break up the zone with handball.

chad cornes picked up an injury on weekend. how long is he expected to be out for, as ive got him in both dream team and supercoach. wondering do i need to trade him

when broadbent gets a run will he most liekly hold his position?

I hope so, the more i read about this kid, the more i like him.

I think krakouer is still suffering from soreness, his body still needs lots of development.

Just a quick question about Kane Cornes, how is he going? Do you expect him to see out the season, or if things don't go the Powers way, will he be getting wrapped in cotton wool and sent of to see a specialist about his shoulder

Cheers.

The krakouer one was strange.

Played every game and the coaches had him firmly in the 22. Missed a week due to general soreness given this is the first year where he's not a twig. Came back round 10, and the entire team played poorly to lose to collingwood. Didn't play last weekend against freo, and if he was omitted I'd be quite surprised as the coaches believe he's in the 22 (and I don't think he played in the SANFL either which would indicate omission, but I'm not 100% on this), so that would suggest he is still recovering from 'general soreness'. If this is the case, no idea if he'll play this week...

What happened to Grey? Injury/illness?

He always carries some undisclosed leg injury(ies), unsure whether he'll play this week, depends on how he trains Wednesday (it's usual for him).

What's the go with Salopek? Way down on his usual output. Not 100%? Change of role? Just poor form?

Probably back too soon from the shoulder injury, might be getting watched more closely. His role hasn't changed, altho he's lost his HBF partner Krakouer, allowing the opposition to focus on him more.

Re: Nathan Krakouer

guys just wanted to know how long nathan krakouer was out for, cheers!

Dream team related obviously ;)

He was omitted, not injured. Or so the club say.

He played in the magoos on the weekend and went allright. He'll come back when he's picked to come back.

Being a choco fav. I wouldn't say he'll be out long.

He was 4-6 away last week, he's 4-6 away this week - even with the break you'll need to be well clear of any competition in your league (or have a very strong team) to warrant retaining him.
