I'm wondering what a "good" score will be?

I finished with 1,939 (with Riewoldt and Bock as duds in the forward line) so I'm not sure if I should be happy with that or not.

In the season regular, you generally needed 2000+ to be up there with the top 10% of the comp.

With unlimited cap you can pick all the "guns" but then again the 3 player(from one team) restriction puts a natural brake on your total score, I guess.

Yeah, I didn't want to pick any St Kilda players cos I feared a blowout like this but max of 3 from any team made it hard. I had Hayes and Milne ... could have been worse but I finished with 1793.

Hard as it is to say ... I blame Van Berlo! He was my biggest dud!

For my first foray into the world of AFL dream teams I guess that is ok. In A-League Fantasy Football that score would be out of the solar system!!!

Pretty good all round except for the back line. Bock, Eski and Pratt scoring low, plus Hodge too, but everyone would have him so it cancels out (same thing with Riewoldt in forwards). Thommo and J.Selwood hurt. Thommo with a sub 60 is a killer and wasting one of my Geelong players on a 72.

A much better showing from the Alfie Hounds this week with 3678 points. Hitting the lofty heights of 18th in the league and 23,135th overall.

Not as exciting as my meteoric rise to 151st in Fantasy EPL this week on the back of 62 points so far!

I went to the St Kilda vs Coll game last nite. Riewoldt was unstoppable. The decision to make him my captain was justified

That is indeed a poor effort Dr Carl (unless your team was stacked with people yet to play?!). It's a fine line between pleasure and pain in these soccer fantasy comps tho. It's not like the AFL dream teams where you can rely on someone scoring you a good number of points just by racking up easy possessions in the backline.

I can't reveal all my secrets but Adebayor as captain was the key this week with a hatrick and almost all my other players got bonus points for something or other. I also brought in Zaki who managed to score again. I have a bit of a rotation policy with my strikers depending who is playing who.

My only big regret this week is not bringing in Cahill to replace Osman which is exactly the move Everton made and Cahill scored 10 points while Osman got a duck's egg. If I knew Cahill was going to be on the park for over an hour I would have picked him for sure as I still had 6 points to spare in my budget. I did have Arteta in my team tho who had 2 assists.
