I need a few suggestions as to what I should do to my dream team this week.

I have problems in the backline, centre and forward line to a lesser degree.

Backline I have Fletcher, and Ellis as an emergency.

Centre I have Bartel who needs to be replaced.

Forward line I have Nathan Ablett who is a liability.

I have 2 trades and 12 000 in the bankl

Should 1:
1. Trade Bartel for Kane Cornes and Fletcher for Lockyer.
2. Trade Bartel for Kane Cornes and upgrade Nathan Ablett.

Any other suggestions as to what I can do?

Option 1 by a long way
So do we assume Fletcher won't play another game this year?

I also have Kerr and Selwood in my midfield, which are replaced this week by Simon Black and Martin Clarke.

Is it worth keeping Fletcher for one more week and trying to trade Kerr for another gun midfielder the week after if he comes back.

Kane should be in your team at whatever cost, hes leading for disposals and tags, so hes gonna get tackles, and now hes goal kicking too :)

N Ablett, hit and miss

Flethcer is a KP negating Defender more then anything, I'd never put a bloke like him in a dream team, I'd much rather go for people that create the play, like a Cornes, Johncock etc

If you've got a stronger team than your opponent this week I'd just do the Bartel -> Kornes trade and save your last one for next week.

Then next week upgrade Ellis or Nablett.

If you're struggling to beat the team this week I'd be looking at the Nablett trade as well. Ellis should get good numbers this week and just hope that Fletcher comes back next week cause you'll have Ellis playing Sydney on the SCG.

Ellis won't play if Vandenberg is fit thought, and Vandeberg is named on the extended bench along with Ellis.
