I have noticed that there are a number of people who have Veszpremi in their team. I would really like to know why people have jumped on. Has he had a good preseason? What position will he play? What do people expect him to average throughout the season. Thanks

He's not a price that makes him easy to pick..so there's a risk. However anyone that watched his debut games late last yr was pretty impressed. Right body size, right skillset and right ratio's to be a vv good dt'er for the future...however he is in no way an essential or low risk pick.
Other positives include being the type Roos luvs..Davis gone, Kennelly gone, Fosdike gone... his body being strong, seemed to get a fair bit of it without looking busy, and he tends to kick it which helps.

He's a flanker and potential inside mid but just another fwd option in reality. 1st round draft pick who could have gone as high as 5-10 depending on club needs. Has flown under the radar a bit since the draft coz my mob didnt play him till late and he's not at a vic club for hype.

I'm tempted but he's one of many options in the fwds...right size, match ready and should get very good gametime from the getgo. Plenty of +ves but but not priced too well. Smokey for a good season even tho its only his 2nd.

you aint going into round 1 with that team... re-shuffle your mids, rucks and forwards, and maybe take out raines from ur back line

Take raines out? His price seemed good and reports were he featured in the intraclub coming back from his injury i thought he might be good value but i'm not really sure how points are awarded...it seems players who chase cheap kicks may be the way to go?

players you'll need to keep up with the pack i.e.cox
franklin etc.. id be getting
PAV into your side...he was quite good last year

i agree with your advice, except about the forwards.

I would get rid of watts, a key position forward at melbourne spells trouble. lets face it, melbourne wont get the ball in their forward 50 much anyway.
the other three are fine to keep

Quite a nice team not alot of changes i'd make at this stage of pre season. Its too early to be jumping all over particular rookies (barring a couple) so the general structure ( right mix of rookies, mid, premiums etc in the 4 sections) and choosing established players is what you should be focusing on getting set atm.

However I would remove either cross or hayes, probably hayes to mid range player who will rise in value/ become a keeper. Use the extra funds to upgrade tippet.

Got a few injury prone players.

Any feedback would be great to improve my team

They wont get many games.
Your better of getting like a Suban and someone else.

Watts is doing the Dangerfield drill. If he will play games, expect less then 5. Downgrade him to a Ziebell or even a Ballayntyne.
Richo; getting to old?
I took a risk on Fevola, and he wasnt very consistant. If there playing Collingwood early, then he might be a good pick
Koschitzke? Spend that money that I said up there, and upgrade him to a Harvey type player.

Although richo is getting old i still think he is capable to take a lot of marks and get a fair few kicks, however who could i swap him for? Deledio would be an option or i could go cheaper but not sure about that yet.

With fevola i originally had edwards, not really sure about fevola and I don't like his inconsistency. Maybe here i can make some cash and improve my midfield or backline, but again I’m not very sure.

Which backline reserves are likely to play a fair few games, I’d consider my backline reserves weak. Especially when i have injury prone players like malceski. Thoughts on leigh fisher?

For midfield would you consider downgrading dyson to masten or someone similar? this will give me about 100 grand to fix up other areas, although will leave my midfield very vulnerable. Would you upgrade selwood to say an ablett or bartell because i can free up money, though selwood does have potential to score big this season. With players like hasleby and coughlan my midfield can go two ways.
