Did a search, couldn't find anything.

Anyone ever have some seriously ****ed up dreams? Or something truly hilarious? Something that blew your ****? Something that left a puddle of potential children in your pantaloons?

About a week ago I had a pretty strange one.

Had to go to the dentist, which was next door to Rebel sport (has nothing else to do with the dream, but it was). This dentist was apparently the best dentist around. So I went inside, and was told to wait.
When the dentist eventually came, he took me into the room. This is where it got pretty strange.
I sat down, and was given a local anaesthetic. For some reason, the dentist started to operate on my feet and brain.
He pulled back all the skin and flesh from my feet, did some other operatey stuff to them, and then put the skin back. With my brain, he just sliced the top off.

So I left the "dentist" and started to walk to the waterfront. For some reason, my gums were in extreme pain. I kept walking, and went to a Bulldogs vs Freo game at Eastern Beach.

The end.

Remember having a dream when I was about 7 years old that I was on a pirate ship. I got in to a sword fight with the captain and was eventually forced to walk the plank. I wouldnt walk all the way off though so he hit me with the sword in my side. Woke up and had huge pain right where I had been hit in my dream.

Used to have a semi recurrent dream when I was a kid in which I had pixie dust sprinkled on me and could fly as in Peter Pan. Long forgotten what the dream itself entailed but I do remember it felt magical.

Life has pretty much gone downhill since.

I've had all sorts of crazy dreams but none I can really remember. Once I found out that lucid dreaming existed (courtesy of BF) I started to realise I was dreaming but just as I did I would wake up, this happened 4 or 5 times. The next time I came to the realisation I was dreaming and managed to catch it. There I was, fully in control of my magical, can do anything dream self and what do I do?

Nothing. I have no imagination whatsoever. I just walked around and did mundane everyday things until I woke up.

I haven't had a lucid dream since.

I have an ongoing serial dream which comes in episodes. Been happening for about 5 years now. I have a new one of these every few weeks and it always picks up exacltly where it left off the previous time. I'll bring you up to speed.

In the dream I run a nightclub that's owned by the mob although I'm not a member of the mob myself. A friend of mine was dating a girl who overdoses and dies. He's not responsible for her death. He found her dead. He's terrifed he'll be somehow blamed for this and he wants to stash the body. I told him just to call the police. He wants to bury her and play stupid. I tell hime to do whatever, but I'm not helping. He's buries her.

Then it turns out that the dead girl is the daughter of the mobster king pin. F***! So now this becomes sort of like a Pulp Fiction Mia Wallace thing only the girl is really dead. Then I find out my ******* friend buried her on the property of the nightclub that I manage. The mob investigates this whole thing full on, I'm suspect and questioned. It's genuinely scary stuff because if I'm implicated, I'm a "grease spot" like Vincent Vega would have been. The mob somehow links my club to the girl's disappearance, although there is no link other than the girl's body is buried just outside. I'm in this up to my ears and I did jackshit.

My dippy friend and i have to move the body like in Good Fellas. I'm forced to help now because if they find the body it's over for me. We moved the body just a few days before the mob starts digging around on the club propery. Then it turns out they are (for whatever reason) going to start digging at the new place where we re-buried the body. F***!

The serial dream is much more involved than this and seems highly realistic at the time despite the cheesey plot lines liberaly borrowed from various gangster flicks. I'm not going to take responsibility for my subconscious dream center swiping plot ideas here and there. In the dreams I don't realize it. They are terrifying though. Especially when I'm constantly being interviewed by gangsters and the king pin himself. I always wake up in a cold sweat desperately happy that it was only a dream. I'll let ya know about any future installments if you give a shit.

What if dreams are reality and reality is just a dream?

I ****ing hope not considering the dream I'm about to share.

It's too long winded to describe it all, and I can't remember the vast majority of it but basically:

I had a dream where my ex came to me distressed, clearly an emotional wreck. I ask what's wrong, so she tells me...
she tells me that her current boyfriend forces her to import dead bodies from some sick overseas black market, purely for the purpose of having sexual intercourse with them. And if she tells anyone, he'll let everyone know she's been assisting in the sexual hijinks of a necrophiliac. Now, I wish, I truly wish I could remember how the dream ended...but to be honest, it's probably better that I don't. Who knows, maybe she killed him and then had sex with his body, completing an incredibly disturbing thematic circle.

Anyway, safe to say I did some soul-searching after that. Haven't quite figured out the Freudian implications yet, but y'know...

Meh I only remember my dreams if I'm woken up, if I stay asleep and wake up naturally I very rarely remember my dreams (I "know" I've been dreaming but **** knows what about)

Most horrible dream I've had (that i remember anyway) I dreamt I went to work and had a shit day, the dream was realistic until out of the blue me and this new girl at work start fight over my coffee mug and she decides out the fact that I'm shagging her and so I hit her with the coffee mug and she died
Instantly cops appeared start taking photos I'm pinned against a wall hand cuffed I know I'm going to jail I'm truly ****ed.......

Then I was woken up by the very girl from the dream (whom the night before was the first time we'd hooked up), saying she had to go back to her place to get dressed for work she kissed me goodbye and left.

That's the only time a dream has truly scared me. I also broke it off with her and threw out my office coffee mug.

I received a text message a few days ago which I think woke me up but I ignored it and closed my eyes. A second later I'm rolling over to look at the message and it's none other than Brock Mclean letting me know that Aisake O'hAilpin is back at Carlton - I recall there being a video following him around the club being friendly with they boys and Mick Malthouse.

Of course, when I actually did wake up and I found the text message still unread, which turned out to be a rather mundane one from a friend.

Hope and pray Harvey Keitel shows up with lime

Hey! Hopefully that will make its way into my subconscious. Or Harvey can be Winston Wolf and we'll go to the car crushing junk yard. I'll take it either way and I'll make him a good cup of coffee. Thanks, EasternTiger! :thumbsu:
It's pretty cool what you've described. My sister has had a similar experience with her dreams. She's had a years long plot running, although it's more Days Of Our Lives than Pulp Fiction. She reckons she can get back into her dream sequence even after she wakes up, and pick up where she left off. The closest I've come to anything remotely interesting is falling asleep after watching Zodiac, and dreaming an alternate ending where Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo leave the diner and arrest Arthur Leigh Allen.

Had this falling dream a few times.

I used to get those a lot. But mine were weird; I'd always hit the ground and "wake up" in another dream.

I have a hard time remembering most of my dreams, but every now and again I have these thoughts, like a chain reaction of all the prominent dreams I've had, they all come rushing over me for a few minutes. I can only remember having one recurring dream; I'm in New York, Central Park specifically, it's snowing - and that's it.

Lately I've been dreaming in third-person more and more. I have some very cinematic dreams. I often wish I could record them so I could watch them again later - that's my dream.

Had a dream last night I was eating a massive marshmallow.

Awoke this morning to realise my pillow was gone.
