When I was a kid I had to choose one of the 3 theme parks to visit while we were on holidays in Brissy. I chose Movieworld and boy did it suck.

SaveFeriss said:You can see they are starting to consider and address this a lil more, by making the wait for the ride 'Interactive'. For instance, the new Cyclone ride at Dreamworld has a big indoor cylinda (sp?) with a spiral staircase. I was there at a quiet time and waited one hour. While it's basically just a que, they are beggining to attempt to fix this frustration.
IMO much more could be done to entertain the punters while they wait.

Especially avoid Movie World, it tries to be a little piece of America advertising all the "movies" that have been made there, I hadn't heard of 99% of them, they must've all went straight to the specials shelf in the DVD shops.![]()
Agree there mog. People Stay away from Universal Studios. Such an overated place to go to. Disneyland is ok, they have nice rides like space mountain and splash mountain, however they have real stinkers (it's a small world anyone?Mog said:Universal Studios is easily the worstplace I've ever been to, and while Disneyland was alright, it was just too sickly for my tastes.

SaveFeriss said:When I was last there they didn't have the TVs in for the Cyclone, but you could see they were still working on it.
Either they let less people in, or make the que a ride in itself.
It is an international problem that all funparks would be concerned about. And not just funparks, even the smaller Tourist Attractions are waking up to this.
In fact it's probably more important than the actual ride.. keeping people happy while waiting.

SaveFeriss said:The A-Team Van!!!! Id give my left pinkie-toe for a chance at that..(Also because I think I broke pinkie-toe yesterday and it's bloody annoying the hell out of me and I wouldnt mind choppin it off right now)
Yes!! I loved thisDan26 said:Wet 'n Wild would be my second favourite. Best ride there? Terror Canyon 2.
No lines for this when I was there so i went on a few times.dyertribe said:Another vote for Dreamworld.
Loved it all, except the Big Drop. You know how they say keep your head back at all times? I sneezed just as it dropped, head went forward, neck went crack... I didn't do any serious damage, but like with any neck injury, I didn't feel right for the rest of the day.
Joy![]()

Funkalicous said:That's odd. I always move my neck on that ride. It has some low 'g's compared to rides like 'Thunder Bolt'.
BTW, If you have a weak neck and want to end your life, then the 'Thunder Bolt' is for you.![]()
