I don't buy a carton of TEDs a week based on price. I buy them because I like them and because they're easy to drink. When I come home after a long day I don't want to get stuck into heavy beers, a TED or 2 with dinner is superb

Personally, I like Carlton Draught, Swan Draught, Sol, Little Creatures (Bright and Pale), Beez Neez etc.

Swan tastes like cats piss as well.

Buying TED's has nothing to do with cash. If it did I would buy Vic or something cheap like that. Teddies are easily my favourite beer, they are smooth yet still have a solid flavor.

Carlsberg or Coopers Pale ale are they way to go IMO. Nothing wrong with TED, James Boags or draught every now and again either though. Anyone that wants to get elitist about brands of beer probably should be drinking their own urine instead.

I look forward to the day when I am 'man' enough to be able to tell the difference between 'cats piss' beer and 'quality' beer -- and then argue about it with other blokes on an internet forum.

In the meantime, it all tastes terrible to me.

I only ever drink it when I am out (since it is cheap), as there is no goon on tap.

Nothing wrong with TED's, they go down well after a hard day's work.

I'll drink most beers though, not really fussed when it comes to beer. Imported beers are nice to drink but I'm not fussed when a mate slings me a domestic one.

At the end of the day it all comes to down to individual taste. Some like the cheap beers (Emu Export, West End etc) and some like the designer or imported beers (Corona, Stella and many others). That's just how some people are.
