I nearly cried looking at this.

I did cry. Unbelievable. Perhaps it could be made into a TV commercial, although I'm sure there's thousands of other similar stories.

It has been. I believe the ad is her holding the before photo and then putting it down to show the results.

I'm not even going to visit that site, I have a weak stomach.

But I feel bad that 10 years ago & more, it was commonplace to drive home drunk, it was the norm, how the hell did we survive, maybe less traffic limited the carnage that could have been.

If I am going out drinking nowadays, I take taxis or public transport, or if going to friends, I have a mattress in the back of my car & spend the night there, there is NO excuse for drink driving these days.

my god... :(

being a relatively new driver, and an even newer legal drinker, i can't imagine driving after drinking - when i go out with friends i'm either the DD and everyone buys me soft drinks for the night since i'm driving people around, or i get a lift or my parents just have to pick me up from the bus stop - knowing how i can be after even just one or 2 weak drinks, the thought of controlling a car or attempting to control it is just a frightening thought! there is always an alternative to driving drunk or getting in a car being driven by some one who is...

Wow how sad is that.It makes you think, even though you no you wont drive when you have had a few to drink, their could be someone driving in the car next to that is drunk, and thats the scary thing.Your life could be gone in 2 seconds.

Yeh that is pretty scary. ****ing ****ers on the roads, there's way too many of them.

Drunk drivers are obviously the worse, but tailgaters are far more common and just as dangerous. I really hate them. Usually just tap the brake or put the windscreen washers on. No matter what sppen u do they still tailgate.

If you ever have any doubts about drinkings effect on driving, just do a little experiement:

Take one of your favorite racing car games on PC/PS2/Xbox and play it, then while playing, drink a few beers.

I notice that by the second stubbie, my times are shocking, and can barely make it around the track without crashing, yet I dont really feel drunk at all.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Drink drivers are the most selfish and stupid people ever. I have absolutely no respect for them! Likewise for the idiots who accept a ride from someone who has been drinking. How much does it cost to get a taxi? The price you paid for a couple of drinks or so?
